Knock knock.

"Luke?"

"FUCK!" Luke screamed and fell off his bed, naked. I shrieked and ran out of the room, slamming my back against the wall, disturbed.

"Uh-uhm. Y-you can come in now."

I slowly stood up and peeked inside the room, and Luke was sitting on his bed, his cheeks full-out red.

"Hi." Luke fumbled with his fingers in his lap.

"Uh... hi. You weren't expecting company?"

"Not at all. Come in, sorry it's a tad bit messy." He stood up quickly and shoved wrinkly clothes under his bed.

I giggled and cleared my throat. "I just came here to say hi, you don't have to clean for me."

Luke looked up and gave me a small smile. He kicked the last jumble of clothes under the bed, when I heard a huge pang.

"Ow!"

Luke grabbed his foot and winced.

"I kicked my foot." He pouted.

"Luuuke," I frowned. I grabbed his arm and sat him down. "Don't do that. Are you okay?"

Luke rubbed the area where he kicked the bed. He whined.

"I'm fine. I might get a small bruise," Luke cleared his throat. "How are you? I haven't seen you in a while."

"I'm alive, does that count?"

Luke grinned and nodded.

"Definitely. Have you heard that me and..." Luke trailed off.

"Calum told me; maybe it was for the best, Luke."

Luke nodded again and rubbed his eyes. He looked up at me.

"You're going to go swimming?"

"Yeah, once Calum quits being some old grandmum and finds his swimming trunks."

"Shut up, Beth! I heard that!"

Luke and I both groaned loudly. A few seconds later, loud, hard thumping came down the hallway.

"Fuck you all," Calum groaned, flipping us off while storming past by Luke's room.

"That's Michael's line!"

"Fuck a wall, Luke!"

Luke softly chuckled and shook his head. He looked back at me.

"Maybe I can go swim too?"

"You're sick. You're sniffling every time you finish a sentence, Luke."

"But-"

"No."

"You're not my mum." Luke grumbled and sat back, pouting.

"You can't swim, you're going to get even more sick."

"Can I just sit by the poolside?"

"Fully clothed."

"No problem. I never take off my shirt anyways." Luke grinned.

"Not when I came up here like five minutes ago."

Luke frowned. "Shut up. Let's go."
