Nico di Angelo was nervous.
He had always been one to stick in the shadow, always stating out of large crowds...not being comfortable with strangers...
But here he was, in...what did Harry call it? Kings Cross Station?
There was practically no room to walk without knocking something over, and that would have been a very messy game of dominos.
"Thank you, Mr. Dursley," Percy smiled politely at Harry's uncle.
"Erm, oh, yeah, your welcome, Mr. Jackson."
Dudley never told his parents how Percy had beaten him up. And Percy, as well as Jason and Nico had to act polite, or Vernon never would have let them hang out with Harry, let alone come with them to the station to 'catch a train to see a distant Uncle.'
It was funny, because Percy acted all obedient, but that's all it was. An act.
Some people may say he has reckless streak, but that isn't true. He has a small obedient streak. The rest was all Percy-Trouble Maker-Jackson.
When the Dursley's left, Percy rounded on them. "Where are we supposed to go, anyway?"
"Platform 9 and 3/4." Harry read.
"But there isn't a Platform 9 and 3/4," Said Jason.
They asked a person working there, but he looked at them like they were insane.
"What are we going to do?" Nico asked them. Nico was fiddling with his skull ring-the only thing he had from his father, Percy was fiddling with a ballpoint pen that he never used, and Jason was twitching slightly, fingering a golden Roman coin in his pocket.
"Full of muggles, of course," They heard a stern, motherly looking woman say.
Percy turned around.
"Excuse me?" He asked her, and the red-headed girl who was holding hands with her mother blushed, looking from Percy to Harry, and back to Percy.
"Yes?"
"Um, my friends and I," He gestured to Harry and his cousins, "Are going to Hogwarts. You have an owl with you, and we were wondering if, by any chance, you knew how to get to Platform 9 and 3/4. We have no idea and really don't want to miss the train..."
"You just run through the barrier between the platforms," She smiled at him. "Firsts years?"
Percy nodded.
"My son, Ron," She pointed is too. "Watch him go in the platform, and follow."
"Thank you, Ma'am," he grinned. "Bye." He said to the girl, and she blushed.
'Percy could get a really good career in acting,' Nico thought. 'He is actually acting...polite. Weird.'
They followed the boy, and two older boys that looked like Ron, only twins, looked at them. Then Harry. Then to Harry's scar and their eyes went wide.
"Excuse me?" One asked. "We were wondering. Are you Harry Potter?"
"Uh, yeah." He said. "I am."
They looked at each, eyes wide.
"Cool! I'm Fred, and this is George."
"Nice to meet you," Said Harry. They talked for about two minutes, but then, Percy, growing bored, cleared his throat.
Harry blushed.
"Perseus Jackson, call me Percy." Percy grinned a trouble maker grin.
"Jason Grace." Said Jason nodding.
