AFTER HER CONFESSION TO Reece, Teagan decided it was necessary to invite her best friends over. Her friends knew she liked Reece, but they had no idea that she had admitted it all to the British boy. Teagan was in need of a desperate chat about the boy and the future.
"We're here! Now, what's so important that you called us to come here immediately?" Willow comes marching in with the two other girls trailing behind her.
Teagan ushers them towards the living room and says, "You guys might want to sit for this."
"That's never a good sign," Rumer mumbles.
Teagan takes a deep breath and thinks about how she wants to explain everything. It's not that it's hard to say that her and Reece told one another they like each other, but instead it was going to be difficult for her to explain her feelings. Not necessarily her feelings towards Reece, but how she truly felt deep inside of her.
"So Reece and I told each other that we like one another—"
A squeal from the three girls cuts Teagan off from her sentence. The group dance in celebration, but stop when Teagan starts speaking again.
"But, I told him I'm not ready for a relationship," Teagan finishes, waiting for the comments from her dear friends.
"Wait, why?"
"But it's Reece!"
"Please tell me you gave him an explanation as to why!"
Teagan huffs, "He asked me on a date which is why I told him I'm not ready. I did tell him I'm still hurt from Jack. He understands that and is willing to wait. I'm just not sure how I can go back into a relationship. I know Reece isn't like Jack at all, but I just don't want to be wrong again."
Willow knew how hard the relationship was on Teagan better than anyone else. She is her cousin and notices the small things. Because of that role in Teagan's life, she decides it's best she speaks first.
"You're right, Reece isn't like Jack. And because of that, I think you should give him a chance. I'm not saying you need to make it official, but just try one date with him. If that makes you uncomfortable, just tell him. I know he will understand and I know he wants you to happy," Willow reassures. Peggy and Rumer nod their heads and tell Teagan to listen to the oldest.
Teagan looks at her friends with tears in her eyes. She's so thankful for having them in her life. She gives them all a hug as she says, "I love you guys so much! I don't know what I would do without you!"
