IT HAD BEEN A month after Reece actually took the time to ask Teagan out in person. In that span of time, the fans never fully knew what was going on with the pair. Some believed that they were indeed dating, but others still thought they were just friends. Everyone was left confused except those who were close to the couple.
"Babe," Teagan calls out to Reece who is the other room grabbing a drink.
"Yes?"
She takes a deep breath before asking, "When do you think is a good time to tell the fans we're dating?"
Silence is heard throughout her apartment. There's no response. She's not sure if he's upset or didn't hear but either way she's concerned. She's about to get up from her seat when Reece enters the room. He takes his seat beside her and holds her hands.
"I'm completely ready to announce it if that's what you want. I just don't want you to feel pressured to do it since everyone already thinks we are. I'm willing to go as slow as you want," his eyes never break contact as he speaks. Teagan gets an overwhelming feeling from the boy. Never has she seen such a kind and compassionate person.
She throws her arms around his body and hugs him. He is taken back at first by the sudden embrace but soon joins in.
"Are you okay?" Reece asks slightly worried about his girlfriend.
"Yes! I'm just happy!" She says into his shoulder, not wanting to let go. She wants to cherish this moment.
Reece is happy to hear she's doing well, but still doesn't understand why it has affected her mood so much. It's not a bad thing. He just wants to know how to keep her happy.
"Not that it's a bad thing or anything like that, but why are you suddenly so happy?"
She looks into his eyes with a bright smile, "Because everything about you sparks a light in me that I haven't had in awhile. You're so caring and selfless and it's brining out a better me. I love you because of that." At this point, Reece is nearly in tears. He knows he's found himself the perfect girl.
"I love you too Teags! Forever and always!"
