REECE WAS BEYOND NERVOUS
when he went to pick up Teagan. He had been planning this date for a week, perfecting every detail. He made sure nothing could possibly ruin this date. He was determined to make it a night Teagan could never forget it.
He arrived at her apartment with a bouquet of flowers. Even though he didn't want to be too cliche, he thought flowers would be a gentleman thing to do. Plus, he knows that it can't hurt to by a girl flowers. That's what his mom had always told him.
Teagan opens the door after hearing the doorbell ring. There she finds a very causal but attractive Reece Bibby holding flowers. Her hands lift up to her mouth as she gasps. She grabs the flowers before giving Reece a big hug.
"You didn't have to buy me flowers, you know?" Teagan states. Reece smiles and says, "What kind of guy would I be if I didn't?" She laughs it off and puts the flowers in an empty vase.
Shortly after, Reece grabs her hand and directs her to the car. Reece had this whole thing planned out. He knew for a fact that she would be in shock.
They began driving around when Teagan asks, "So where are we going?"
Reece turns his head slightly and tells her, "You'll just have to wait and see."
After twenty minutes of driving, Teagan looks ahead to see a gazebo with a picnic inside. Her heart melts at the sight. Reece admires Teagan's reaction and he already knows he's done a good job.
He opens the door for her and they walk towards the picnic. Little did Teagan know, there was more surprises in her future.
"Do you like it?" Reece asks.
"Are you kidding! I love it! It's so cute and oh my gosh I just want to hug you!" Teagan gushes. Reece opens his arms and embraces the brunette.
The pair sits down and begins diving into the food Reece and the boys prepared. It was hard work trying to make decent food. Many attempts had to happen for success. This included burnt dishes and smoke alarms going off.
The time of Reece's surprise was coming around. In the corner of his eye, he saw it coming into action. He gave a quick nod to signal it was time.
Teagan and Reece were sitting in silence, looking at the beautiful sky when a voice begins to sing.
"For you I'd risk it all. I'd rather crash, I'd rather crawl. Then never have your love at all...." The voice sings.
Teagan turns around to see Brad Simpson. Her eyes widen and happy tears start falling from her eyes. That's when she knew for certain that Reece was a keeper.
