New Detectives

At the police station:

Luhan: Lu Li! We have new detectives coming in! Their names are Y/N, Felix and Candy!
Lu li: *turns around on chair* Let them in

Luhan: Ok...
Lu li: *looks through their profile on the computer*

Y/N's Pov

I was on time, so was Candy who had a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie because she didn't eat any breakfast

"Lu Li, they're here." began Luhan

"Good, let them in." Replied the young man in his early thirties.

"Told you he looks like me." Says Luhan as he smiled a bit at the new friends before closing the door. Luhan then kept a normal expression, which turned rather serious when he left the room. As if he did not want to be around his brother for some reason.

We stepped into Lu Li's office and sat on the black leather couch waiting for him to talk.

Lu Li walked over and smiled lightly.
"Welcome graduates." Andrew Lu smiled.

Andrew Lu then got up and shook our hands.

His gaze then turned into a more serious gaze.

"Being here is not a joke, being here means you are committed to your work, willing to help fellow citizens and solve the crime case." He began.

"If you think you cannot handle the tough cases that come across the way, I suggest you leave." He says as he pointed at the door.

He continued,
"As you all should know, there is always an emotional impact that you will face as soon as you come across your first criminal case, whether it be thievery or murder. Should you ever have those impacts, come see me, or a psychologist or simply step out." He says.

He continues,
"You are all new detectives, you should all know that we take strong responsibilities.  The investigations of each criminal case are to be taken seriously, to have that determination to get to the bottom of it all. We cannot afford to fail our citizens." He says.

"Now onto teams, Y/N, Felix Candy, Jackson Wang will work with my younger brother Luhan's team." He says, and continued "Y/N, your partner will be Felix.  As for you Candy, your partner will be Jackson Wang." announced Andrew.

"Now, any questions?" Asked Andrew.

"Whose Felix?" Asked Candy.

"Felix is a new young detective just like you two" Replied Lu Li, he continued, "We were short of two officers last year, my younger brother Luhan and Felix were able to fill in the spots, you do know how important this is."  Replied Lu Li with a solemn gaze.

"May I ask what happened?" I asked.

"That's a question for another day."Lu Li replied with a sigh.

He then glanced at his watch and looked at us again,
"You two should start the orientation around here now, Felix should be here any minute now." Says Andrew, who opened the door to his office.

Felix, the handsome blonde Australian boy with light freckles, ran late and burst through the doors, into Andrew's main office

Lu li: Why are you late?

Felix: Sorry mate, *Realizes what he had said* I meant Mr. Lu, Sir, I had to say goodbye to my brother.

Lu li:... Just call me sir. Fine, just don't be late next time

Felix: *looks down at floor* Alright

Lu li: Alright, recruits, *claps his hands*

Me: Hi, I.m Y/N. *reaches hand out*

Felix: *blushes a little* Hey nice to meet you I'm Felix. *he shakes my hand*

Me: So anything else to add Sir?!

Lu li: Well, there are some tasks I want you three to accomplish first before you get any real work, take them as... Tests

Lu li: the first task is an individual one, *hands each of us a document* I need each of you to figure out a solution to this problem that we encountered months ago and try to solve it. Just so you know, there aren't any black or white answers, I'm testing you on your opinion.

Me: Alright. Good luck guys, you'll need it!

Felix: Good luck mates! *Thumbs up*
