Y/N's pov

I sat opposite Candy as she began flipping through the latest crime files.

Candy, Felix and me were sorting files,  Andrew had told us that we must get to know everyone and start from the very beginning.

Sorting files thoroughly was one of the assignments, analyzing and investigating were the next official steps.

I flipped through and examined each case carefully for a few minutes before putting them away.

Later in the afternoon, we took a look at the latest cases going on currently. Most investigations were still ongoing,  others were solved already.

Lu Li suggested that we can take notes to write what we can learn from them and how they solved each case etc.

We weren't students anymore, but this wasn't a bad idea.

Soon the seemly endless pile of files decreased, and only one was left.

I opened it and glanced at it.

"Case #15631960: First Degree Murder on Fourth street."

A small family was robbed and murdered, during Winter break. It was a surprise attack, the father wasn't home. The victims included women, and her two kids, one boy one girl. The father and uncle found out about this over the phone, it must've been devastating for him.

The suspects were three girls, they all had a terrible past which included abusive parents. One girl was in charge of stealing the valuables and money, the other was killing and the youngest one kept on the watch. They were also all part of a mafia, which explains a lot about them.

I then closed the file quickly, realizing it was the case I helped solve by chance not long ago.

*Flashback*

The snow fell endlessly in Seoul, it's my first winter here.

I held Yoongi's fingers and smiled.

I looked at my mini assignment from criminology class.

"Still learning about it?" asked Yoongi.

"Yeah," I replied.

"I thought you wanted to be a producer or an idol like me," he replied.

"I do, but honestly I still don't know yet," I replied honestly.

"That's okay, whatever it is, I support you areum," he replied as he kissed me.

"After her!" yelled the police.

Suddenly someone ran past us, so fast as if a flash of lightning. I looked ahead and noticed there was a huge wallet in her bag. It didn't look like it belonged to her.

Without thinking I ran after the person. Yoongi followed behind shortly.

Suddenly the person pulled out a knife and charged at me before I knew what happened, I felt pain from my side

Yoongi screamed and ran over to me as I lay on the concrete sidewalk.

"Y/N! Your bleeding! Your hurt! Your arm!" yelled Yoongi.

That was the last thing I heard before I fainted.

In the hospital...........

The officer, who appeared to be the leader stepped forward.

"Y/N! You're a student detective! What were you thinking?" asked the young middle-aged policeman.

"I know, I was trying to help." I began.

"You know, when I was about your age, maybe a little older, the same thing happened to me too, but Y/N, that was a murderer you tried to chase down!" countered Andrew (Lu Li).

"Brave girl, but seriously Y/N, don't do that again, you scared me!" Exclaimed Yoongi.

"Alright, I'm sorry," I replied, looking at Yoongi.

"Thank goodness it was just a small wound! The doctor said you can leave later this afternoon, but seriously please don't do something like this again!" pleaded Yoongi, concerned, he continued,

"Excited to celebrate Christmas?" he asked.

"Yeah," I replied with a smile.

That was the First and Last Christmas I spent with him before he disappeared............
