It was a rainy day. The best kind of day. The one where you are Arthur could cuddle without having to do any work. You woke up to the sound of rain hitting the top of your tent softly. You felt a strong pair of arms around your waist and smiled. Arthur let out a soft groan as he slowly woke up. You rolled over smiling at him.
"Good morning sleepy head" you said.
"Morning sweetheart" he replied, his voice still groggy.
"Did you sleep well?" you asked brushing a piece of hair out of his face.
"I did" he said smiling, his eyes still half closed.
"Let's get some breakfast" you said trying to encourage him to get up.
He groaned and sat up slowly rubbing his face.
"Alright" he said standing up.
~After breakfast~
You and Arthur had went back to your tent. You walked in, taking your boots off when you noticed him standing just outside the tent in the heavy rain.
"Arthur?"
He didn't say anything. He was just looking down a bit.
"Arthur what is it? Come inside you're gettin soaked" you said walking out to him. The two of you were standing in the rain for what felt like forever. Just then you noticed him staring at your lips.
"I shouldn't kiss her..." he thought.
But he gave in. His lips pressed against yours. You were taken aback. Arthur was never known to show affection let alone much emotion.
Yet he kissed you.
