Hey guys!! I am NOT dead x3 I have been busy with drama and such but now I'm back so that's all that matters.... you are gonna like this one ;) I did when I thought of it so enjoy!!

You were the sheriff of valentine, this run down livestock town needed someone to set it strait again, and you were the one for the job, or so you thought.
"Howdy sheriff, I heard talk of a new gang arriving somewhere in new handover, said they were close to Valentine" a man said as he walked by.
"Thank you sir! I'll keep an eye out" you replied chipper. At least someone wanted to fix this place.
The rest of your day went rather smoothly, no crime except for a few bar fights gone too far.
"SHERIFF!" You heard a distressed call for help.
"Someone's robbin' the general store!" They shouted.
You grabbed your revolver before charging out the door and towards the store.
"That's it, put everything in the bag or I'll blow your head clean off" you heard the robber say. His voice was deep, but he didn't he sound like any typical gunslinger, there was a hint of... kindness in his voice? like he was all bark and no bite, like he wouldn't actually hurt the shop keeper.
"Sir I'm going to need you to put your hands up" you said pointing your gun towards him.
You couldn't see his face because he had a hat, and bandanna on.
"Well hey there... sheriff" he gave you a quick smirk.
"Sir I won't ask again" you tightened the grip on your gun and stepped closer.
"And if I don't?" He asked, clearly knowing you weren't capable of shooting him on the spot.
"Then I'll- I'll be forced to take you in" you stuttered, suddenly a bit nervous.
He didn't say anything, instead he slowly removed his bandanna, gave you a quick smirk, and put his hands up.
"Looks like you caught me" he said with a calm, smooth tone to his voice.
You walked over to him slowly, cuffing him and leading him over to the jailhouse.
"This'll be your cell" you said, giving him a slight nudge into it.
The next hour had been filled with an awkward silence until he finally spoke.
"So why'd you become a woman of the law?" He asked as he looked at you.
You didn't respond, instead you gave him a look, as if silently commanding him to get quiet.
"Well, if you're stuck here guarding me all night, we might as well get to know each other" he said, sitting against the wall with a huff.
"Good money I guess" you replied blandly.
"What's your name anyway?" You asked
"Arthur, Arthur Morgan" he said, not looking away from your eyes. The two of you talked for about another hour, nothing much, just about your lives before the place you were both in now.
Eventually he fell asleep, and you soon after.
12:00 a.m
You heard a groan and looked up from your book.
"Bout time" you said looking back down.
"It's twenty dollars and you're free to go" you said dangling a key in front of him.
"What a little tease you are" he said leaning against the other side of the cell bars.
For a moment everything stopped. You stood there, staring into each other's eyes. Slowly, the distance between your lips got shorter, and shorter, until finally they touched. He stuck a hand through the bars and around your neck, and you did the same to him.
After what felt like forever, the kiss ended.
"That shouldn't have happened... if anyone finds out I'll- I'll-..." you panicked.
"I thought it was nice?" He said.
"Of course it was- I mean... it shouldn't have happened!" Your voice rose slightly.
"Or maybe, it should have" he said smiling.
"Just- forget about the money, just go" you said quickly fumbling the keys to find the correct one. Unlocking the cell door, you felt a sense of sadness. You didn't know why but this man was something else.
"Alright, get on outta here" you said turning to sit back down at your desk.
He grabbed your shoulder, first alarming you, but then you fell into his touch.
"Come with me" he said, his eyes looking into yours.
"I can't I- what about my life? My job? How can I give that up for.. well for the life of an outlaw for gods sake?"
"You can't tell me you didn't feel anything between us just then" he reasoned.
"I did but-"
"Then come with me" he took your hand, and before you knew it, there was a note, your badge, and paper work left on the desk. You had run off with a gunslinger, and that was the best choice you had ever made.
