Chapter 14: Great Escape

"Oh speaking of your house........would you mind if I stayed at your place for a while? Just until I figure stuff out."

Your P.O.V

"What the hell?! Why would you ask me, wouldn't you wanna stay at Mina's place or something?" Bakugou asked me.

"Well, I just remembered now and you were here and I figured we're pretty close friends so I asked but it's whatever. I'll just ask Mina if I can stay with her." I answered.

"I mean, I guess you can stay at my house."

"No, you already answered, you can't change my mind now. I'll just go ask Mina or Kirishima or maybe even Denki."

"Ok and? You said that acting like I'd give a damn."

"..."

"..."

We walked in silence for a while until we were on our street. He continued walking on his side of the street while I crossed to the other side. "Wow, not even gonna say goodbye?" He yelled. I continued walking and just flipped him off.

I unlocked the door and walked into my house. When I closed the door, the smell of my mom's perfume engulfed me. Unknowingly, tears started pouring out of my eyes. "Heh, I told her..hic...she went..hic...noseblind."

I dropped my stuff, grabbed a picture of her off the wall, and brang it up to my room. I went to sleep crying and holding the picture in my arms.

The next day
(Monday, September 11th)

My eyes flutter open. I remove the sheets from on top of me. I get out of bed and I began to walk to the bathroom but then I remember the picture. Instantly I go into a panic, throwing things off my bed every time I didn't find the picture. I kept going until even my mattress wasn't on my bed. After that, I look under the bed and see the frame then reach under to grab it. Once I have it out from under the bed I realised that the glass was cracked.

I must've dropped it in my sleep. I sigh and look at the clock.

5:48 A.M

Well I guess I still have a bit before I need to leave. Maybe I'll just get ready and eat something.

"Man, it may just be toast but it's delicious!" I look at the clock.

6:59 A.M

"Damn, I have great timing!" I grab my stuff, put on my shoes, and head out the door. I began walking to school but for once I was alone. It was weird. No one talking to me. Just me and my thoughts.

I actually have nothing on my mind right now? What the heck is this crap!? The one time I'm alone I can't even go over my thoughts.

I stood corrected. Just me walking alone with no thoughts. So, instead I decided to admire the trees and other sorts of nature until I got to school.

I arrive at my classroom and walk in. I made it before the bell so I didn't get a tardy this time. I sit down at my desk and put my head down in my arms.

So.....tired..

I begin to doze off but was awakened by Mina. "Hey Y/N."

"Hey Mina, what's up?"

"Oh nothing really, just wanted to ask you if you were ok."

"Oh um yeah I'm fine. I uh actually wanted to ask you something later."
