--- Flashback ---
--- 30th of October, 1962 ---

"Barbarous massacre, committed by its perpetrator, Susan Clarke and Samuel Manson, in one of the most peaceful parks in Boston, Massachusetts, has already became a hunting area for serial killers or rather murderers as the victims don't count more than 10." Meanwhile, the radio played as the radio journalist announced solemnly the recent news, whilst the strawberry-haired lady was masticating a slice of homemade cherry cheesecake as she widened her eyes at the mention of the perpetrators' names. "According to some sources, this massacre is associated with pre-Halloween by bringing spookier atmosphere for the park's uninvited visitors to pay a visit to it at their own risk." She wiped with a handkerchief her damp, nonetheless clammy of sweetness lips, thereafter heaving a jaded sigh by yawning.

"Jesus H Christ! How insane could be those people?" Serena muttered by zinging up to the front door of her apartment as she walked away temporarily from the kitchen to make sure if the front door is shut and locked up in the same time. "Phew! No worries!" In the interval, Serena's lip curled at being beyond relieved it was locked by marching up to the kitchen as the radio news played yet.

"In addition to warn the Boston's population, be safe and sound at your homes! Do not risk going out and finding yourself in trouble by being bamboozled by murders."

"Oh shit!" Afterwards she unplugged from the contact the radio, subsequently nibbling on her bottom lip after finishing with the dessert as she put the used silver fork and plate in the sink, watering them, in order to wash them a bit later. At the moment, she grabbed the phone, dialing her childhood's friend phone number as the heart beats accelerated as its ounce cemented them to be as heavy as stones in her  chest. "H-Hello? Odette?"

"Oh hi, Serena! Ya seem pretty horrified." The juvenile singer echoed as the young lady kept the earpiece clung to her petite, sensitive ear, bobbing lightly her head as her chocolate brown orbs were darted to the counter plot.

"Yeah! On the radio news, they've announced about a massacre which takes its place in one of the most peaceful Boston parks in the afternoon as 2 psychos are responsible for the deaths of 10 people at least." Meantime, Odette paid utterly attention to her old friend's serious monologue as chills smeared her organs and body muscles, accelerating her heart beats as its heaviness escalated.

"What the hell? Is that even possible?"

"Everything is possible, Odet! I have never heard of these psychos, who killed those people in the park." In the interim, the librarian cleared her throat as she rubbed uneasily her strawberry-haired scalp with her neatly manicured in violet fingernails. "They belong in Briarcliff since they don't seem," She paused by wrily chuckling, tickling the corners of her mouth. "Alright mentally at all!"

"For sure! I locked up myself at home as I'm beyond relieved these psychos won't invade my home and being on top of the list with their victims."

"That's the wiser decision, ma'am!" The brunette said in jeering manner the last word. "Do not underestimate the crimes and homicides!"

"Very funny!" Serena couldn't repress guffaw as she balled her solely free hand's into a fist, thereafter reluctantly slam it with a fist. "I'm not underestimating them. I listened carefully the radio news."

"How comes ya being as horrified as a bun? Huh!"

"Odette, it's not funny anymore. It's insanely serious." The slightly older girl huffed, opting to halt her friend to demonstrate her childish side when it comes to the sinister massacre which was committed in one of the most peaceful Boston parks in the afternoon hours.
