Whilst the patients were in the common room whether by banging their heads relentlessly, recklessly into the brick walls of the room, Susan and Samuel were seating on the tattered couch as they were taking drags at their cigars which they have gathered from an old, abandoned cigarette pack, located somewhere in the common room.
The both inmates had an urgent appointment with Dr. Azarova in the wee hours of the noon as they were obligated to consult with her, via Mary Eunice and Father McKenzie's message to them.
The sounds of chattering and banging heads were the dominering ones, outnumbering the both sonly committed patients due to the barbaric massacre a day before Halloween.
"Sam?" The black-haired lady enquired as she scratched relucantly her shaggy lion mane of ebony tresses as her fingers lightly combed the scalp, pursuing for his gaze.
"Yeah, Sue? Is anything wrong, baby doll?" He questioned, winking gamely at her as she demurely, seductively nibbled on the silken skin of her plumpish, rosy-coloured lip.
"Have ya ever thought of getting out of this hellhole?"
"Is that even a question, Sue?" The slightly younger man inquired wrily as a guffaw zinged his dry lips, taking another drag of his cigarette, subsequently blowing severe dim, spreading in the common room's outskirts as tobacco, interweaving with poor hygiene, urine and a tad blood reeks infected the room's stiff air. "We should plot it in different way rather than in the cliché one."
"How about having kids together and be family people?" The lady questioned as her dry bottom lip curled, furrowing her eyebrows, awaiting rational, nonetheless honest response from her long-time friend.
"It wouldn't be a bad idea, Sue, ya know!" He inquired rhetorically as their faces approached, sealing the gap as they stared at one another's faces with sheer love, unconditional lust, oozing from their linked irises. A mischievous, tempting smirk hugged the older serial killer's lips as Samuel snaked spontaneously his strong, howsoever, lean arm around his partner's shoulder as his other hand's fingers grabbed her chin, tilting her head to meet her hypnotizing gaze. "I've always wanted to confess my damned feelings for ya but sometimes just the place and the time aren't ideal."
"Me either. The hesitancy whether if it's the right time to tell ya right away what I feel for you was always a matter of question for me." She bit her lip half-heartedly as her slender, secure arms braced the nape of his neck as if they were Samuel's armor. "I've never loved that passionately my exes. They were like dandruff in the past. They just vanished in the thin air, Sam!" Their dry lips scarcely brushed as she digged her fingertips in his upper back, licking gamely with her tongue tip his upper lip. "I have three words for ya."
"I'm not surprised, because I know what do you feel for me and you've been hiding it from me for years."
"Shu, shu, honey!" She silenced him with a light, however, resiliently deepening kiss as she captured his lips into hers, shutting her eyelids as blinds, thereafter she broke off the kiss as their heart beats' frequency accelerated in their chests which were pressed against one another. "I love you!"
"I love you too, my cupcake!" As the younger man was about to capture in harder, more sensual kiss his love interest, all of a sudden the common room's double door opened, catching them off guard momentarily as they withdrew with a handful of inches their figures, seating on the couch as if they were mere inmates or rather allies, noting the head of Briarcliff, Father McKenzie arriving alone in the common room as his haughty gait highlighted each step of his. His oxford shoes clicked against the cemented flooring, drawing the majority of the patients' attention in no time as he strolled up to the jukebox, plugging it off as soon as he approached it. "Oh shit! This asshat is right there again."
