--- A Week Later ---
--- 6th of March, 1963 ---
The days reluctantly progressed swiftly as a summer breeze, delicately blowing its invisible waves in the summer background along with the aggressive sea waves, caressing its aureate sand's coast.
It has been a week since the married couple acknowledged their daughter and future son-in-law's wedding plans including the day when they are going to do some shopping for wedding gown and wedding formal costume.
In the past week, the twins, Lucas and Jack mustered with sleeping on their own since they've been already almost 12 weeks old babies, whereas Charlotte was still afraid of the desolation and darkness, subsequently sleeping on her own. The little girl was still kipping in her parents' bedroom even snuggling into their warm, doting hug in the wee hours of the midnight.
There were some nights when Charlotte was weeping uncontrollably, causing her mother's mild exasperation, brewing and cooking inside her. Nevertheless, it was Odette's second nature as well.
At last but not least, the day for shopping has arrived at last.
In the wee hours of the morning, Odette and Judy woke up earlier to feed their little sweet rays of sunshines as they yearned for being fed properly and afterwards their diapers being changed in no time.
Judy and Timothy were in Kit's house along with the twins for a few days as it was their turn to visit the young couple's current home even when they didn't have their own seperate bedroom. Nonetheless the juvenile gas station's salesman didn't underestimate the former members of the church by lending them for awhile their bedroom, whereas Odette and Kit slept on the sofa in the living room as it can be used as a bed.
In the meantime, Timothy and Kit were brewing coffee in the kitchen as the younger man was eagerly looking forward for the shopping with his fiancé as if they were adolescents, agitated for the ball by going on a shopping to purchase the most glamorous and exorbitant outfits for themselves. Little did they know what diversal choice might await them as soon as they set a foot in the store with the former holy woman, who's going to accompany them and aid them with choosing at times if they struggled or she has found something much better.
Whilst the salesman was supervising the brewing coffee, the British compatriot gathered 4 mugs from the upper kitchen cabinet within seconds without dropping either of them.
The wee hints of the forthcoming spring were readily evident outside with its vaguely warmer weather, besides the melting snow as it hasn't been snowy for days even a week at least. The middle-aged adults will genuinely miss the winter and its mesmerizing aesthetics, reckoning serene, frosty vibes which gave them.
"You seem pretty agitated, Kit!" The British aristocrat evoked shortly after the coffee brewed as the mugs were pooled with hot caffeine liquid as its alluring aroma of black coffee quickly overspread in the kitchen.
"Well, yeah, Tim! It's just about this shopping for the wedding costumes." Kit exhaled sharply as the hot mugs sat motionlessly on the counterplot, glancing at the window's hazy glasses. "I just think Odette is even more excited than me."
"You're just young and it's something new for you, Kit!" In the interim, the former priest couldn't suppress a growing sympathetic smile, honed up in the corner of his lips as he patted amiably, lightly the younger man's shoulder, embolding him as his self-esteem doesn't diminish at all. "You and Judy used to be like that especially Judy since she hasn't always been that happy and she used to be like Odette. Having no luck with the representatives of the opposite gender especially in romantic relationship." He kept on with his utterance as he sipped his hot caffeine beverage as it resurrected his organs as soon as it gushed down, lingering on his tongue.
