First Person POV

I groaned in pain and reached for my head as I started to wake up. I leaned up out of the bed I was laying in and held my head until I could feel it starting to heal. I breathed out a sigh and finally opened my eyes to find myself in a dark room. It looks like a motel room and that the person had the curtains drawn. I looked over to my left to see Elena on the other bed and some guy laying in a chair in front of our two beds asleep. My senses told me that he was a vampire, great. I slowly started making my way to the edge of my bed and climbed off the side of it onto the floor. I made my way to Elena's side and began to shake her gently. I heard her start to groan slightly and she slowly opened her eyes as she placed a hand to her head.

"Bella," She groaned out, causing me to shush her quickly and point to the guy who was asleep. She gasped in shock and began to move backwards on the bed, but I grabbed her hand and squeezed it to let her know she's okay. She looked over at me and I nodded at her in reassurance before gesturing for her to follow me. I slowly started to climb off the bed and Elena followed me quietly. We slowly walked towards the sleeping vampire and I gestured for Elena to stop before I slowly lifted my leg and climbed over the guys outstretched leg. I stepped away when I had both feet on the ground and stuck my hand out to help Elena climb over to guys leg as well. She looked at the guy then at me with an unsure face, and I felt myself getting annoyed with my little sisters fear. I rolled my eyes at her in annoyance and waved at her to hurry up, causing her to sigh and grab my hand. She slowly climbed over the guys leg as well, and when she was over we started to walk towards the door.

I pushed Elena in front of me so if the guy wakes up he'll attack me first. She walked towards the door and saw that the chain was on it. She slowly lifted her hand up to the chain and began to slide it over to the opening as slowly and quiet as possible. She then slowly rested the chain on the door and reached down to the lock and doorknob. She looked back at me, and I nodded at her to go ahead and do it. She nodded back at me and turned back to the door to turn the lock, but a voice behind me caused her to jump in shock and me to push her behind me for protection.

"I wouldn't," It said.

He walked closer to us and looked the both of us in the eyes as he started to try to compel us. "Don't try to escape. Don't even move. Do you understand?" I nodded along like his compulsion worked and I'm guessing Elena did the same because a satisfied look came over who I now recognized as Ben McKittrick. That son of a bitch better not have hurt Bonnie on their date. Ben started moving away from us and walked over to the table by the door. I started tapping Elena's hand to let her know to try again. She understood and quickly unlocked the door and pulled it open. I began pushing Elena out the door because Ben started coming at us, but I was pushed back in because Elena was being pushed back in as well. I looked up to see some girl shoving the two of us into the room and thought quick on my feet. I need Elena to get out of here. She can't take care of herself like I can. I quickly raised my hand at Ben and Anna and thought of a spell that Bonnie's grams taught me.
