I sighed in frustration for what seemed like the millionth time tonight. I have checked almost everywhere around town and the woods and have yet to find Vicki. I was about to just give up on the girl and tell Stefan and Damon to look for her themselves, but I knew I couldn't do that. I would end up feeling bad for making them do all this work themselves. However, my frustration wasn't the only reason I was ready to stop searching for the night. Stefan thought it would of been a great idea to split up, but he didn't feel comfortable with me searching for Vicki alone. He thought that there was a chance that Vicki could lose control since she's new and kill me. Seeing how that theory was already tested during the training session I was compelled to forget and I can't heal from lethal injuries, Damon agreed. With that agreement came the idea for me and him to go together to look for Vicki and him running off with me before Stefan and I were able to say no. Since then, I have been ready to wring Damon's neck so he would stop annoying me for 5 seconds.

"Can we be done yet? We have had no luck, and as much as I care about Vicki, only because of Jeremy, I am ready to go home and sleep. I have had a very long day, and I spent 30 minutes comforting my sister and trying to help her sleep before I came out here. I want to go home," I shouted at Damon.

"Hey, don't be getting an attitude with me Sabrina the Teenage Vampire Witch. I'm tired too. You think I wanna be out here searching for this chick. I would much rather be at home, sipping some bourbon, and relaxing. Enjoying being out of the basement for the first time in almost a week, no thanks to you," He snapped back at me.

I smirked at him before replying. "Your welcome for that, by the way. I'm not going to apologize for doing something right. Also, thanks for the new nickname. You have a different one every time I see you."

"Yes, Bella, and you should feel honored. I don't just give random people nicknames. You should feel like every single one of them is a compliment," Damon smirked at me as he walked closer to me.

"Oh, really," I scoffed at him as he walked closer.

"Yeah. I don't take the time to come up with nicknames for just anybody," He told me, now standing right in front of me.

I looked up at him, his face was only inches from mine, but I didn't let him see that I liked it or not. "And how long does it take you to come up with these nicknames?"

"A few seconds, really. And those few seconds I use could really be used for more important things," Damon smirked while shrugging.

"More important things? Like drinking, preying on humans, and turning innocent people into vampires so I can stay out till 4 in the morning with you," I smirked up at him smugly, shrugging back at him.

"Well, how else am I supposed to get you alone? Have you all to myself with no one else around," Damon whispered out to me as he leaned closer to me.
