Before I could even swing again. Bill was pulling me away and him, the other body guards were pushing them out. Michael grabs my hand and guides me back into my room. I just can't believe she would say something foul like that. I pace back and forth with my fingers tangled into my curls. How could she. I just can't stop crying. I wasn't upset with what they said to me. These weren't even angry tears. I was hurt for Michael. How can people judge something he has no control over. I just can't believe it. It's part of him but it isn't part of who he is. I just wish people could see what I see in him. I'm so tired of people and their judgmental ways. I kick my dresser. I kick the bed in rage. I'm so angry with people and I hurt for Michael. I scream out in frustration. I feel Michael wrap his arms around. With one hand firmly on my head and the other holding me securely.
"Michael." I cry out as I grip his shirt. "I'm so sorry. I wish you never heard what she said."
"Shh." He says as he sways us back and forth. "You have no control over what other people say. Yes it hurts but, I am use to people saying something about my skin. I just want you to be okay."
"I'm sorry you saw that side of me. I couldn't control my anger. I lost it when she said those things."
"It doesn't matter now. I know you just wanted to protect me. But, violence doesn't solve things. It just only gives us temporary satisfaction."
"I know. I thought I let go of all the pain."
"You can't heal over night. It takes time. Never forget I am always going to be right by your side. I will never give up on us."
"Why didn't you listen to me Michael?"
"Because, you were hurting. I knew I needed to be by your side regardless if they saw me or not. You needed me. I could hear the pain in your voice. I know what you said was long overdue. But, I couldn't stand what they said to you. How can family do something so cruel like that. I can't wait for you to be able to put all of this in the past and move on. Because you deserve pure happiness and true love." He says holding me tighter.
"I have that all in you Michael. Thank you for believing in me."
"We are best friends."
"You are my family now Michael." I say pulling him closer to me. "You are all I need."
