Half the names on the list had already been crossed off. Luckily I was last on the list. Ever since the outbreak of Virus 66 the country has been on strict lockdown. Some safe houses have been set up in most major cities but most have become overrun by people carrying the virus.
My father and I have been on the road for a couple weeks. We have been trying to find a safe house that hasn't been overrun. We started in Indiana and have made our way to the Nevada-California border. Supposedly we have family held up in Calabasas. I can never fully trust anything these days though. Part of me hopes that it's true, but on the other hand I don't want to get attached to something or someone else.
