44.Closure

Alucard's POV

As planned, I went to Erzaleigh's house to take her out and have the second dinner with me.

I used my Ferrari for tonight so that she'll enjoy the ride.

I don't want her to think anything bad for tonight. This will be the last night I'll hang out with her. So I had to make it special.

When I'm already in front of their mansion, I decided to call her and tell her I'm already here.

Calling Erzaleigh...

"Erzaleigh? I'm already here" I told her.
"[I'll be there in a minute]"she answered.

Call ended

I ended the call and waited for her.

I remember how it all started. When Lax hit her on the head. When I carried her to the clinic. When we became friends, and have our dinner together. How her Mom wants her for me. Our first dance together. And all the sacrifices I've done for her.

Well, I guess I lose, again.

"Alucard!"Erzaleigh shouted.

She was wearing a nice black dress.
Her hair is tied up and she's wearing a red lipstick.

She looks so mature. I'm sure that my relatives will like her for me. But I know that her heart is beating for someone else. Not me.

I opened the door for her and entered in the driver's seat.

I made a reservation in a high class restaurant. Our ride was quiet. We're not talking and I didn't plan to. I really want to be with her tonight and make myself feel that she cares for me for the last time.

"We're here" I told her and opened the door. Then opened the door for her.

We went inside the restaurant and I pulled the chair for her to seat before I sat in mine.

"Good evening Sir and Ma'am. May I take your order?" the waiter asked.

"I'll take the French Stewed Pork and Teriyaki Beef. For drinks I just like Lemon Iced Tea. And for her" I ordered and asked for Erza's order.

"I like Seafood Pasta and Mushroom soup. Also Iced Tea. Thank you" she ordered.

The waiter nodded and leave.

"So, what are we going to talk about, Alucard?"she asked me.

I didn't answer instead, I think about something that could change the topic.

"How are you? Do you still need me?" I asked her.

She looked down and smiled a bit.

"I'm fine"she answered. She didn't answer my second question--- "And I always need you" there,she said it herself. But why do I feel like I'm always the second choice.

"You need me? Are you sure?" I asked her again to make things clear.

"You see Alucard,from the very start you're the one that my heart likes. You're a very gentleman,kind,caring and sweet friend. You were already a part of my life that's why I need you. I need you to stay with me. Yes,inaamin kong gusto ko si Lax. Lax took my heart from you but now that he have Rhian, I don't know what to do."she said and fake laughed.

She start to feel emotional and tears started to drop in her eyes. This thing is the most painful for me, seeing Erzaleigh cry. To be honest, I don't care if I always feel pain. Loving someone can always give pain and I know that's normal.
