I am busy signing the investments for the business when my assistant entered my office.
"Yes?"I asked while still signing the papers.
"The meeting with Chairman Brent is canceled Ma'am. Next Friday nalang daw po"my assistant said.
"What? Bakit daw? I'm not allowed next Friday may business trip ako"
"Yun na nga po Ma'am. Nasa hospital daw po ang apo niya kaya he canceled the meeting"
'Apo? Could it be Erza?'
"Alamin mo kung sinong apo niya ang nahospital and where. Dadalawin ko"
"Pero Ma'am,may report pa pong ipapasa sa inyo later"
Yeah right. I'm too busy today. But I have no choice. I need to know.
"Cancel the reporting. Make sure that they're ready to report before showing it to me."I said and fix the papers and put it in the folder and gave it to her. "Give that to the investors,tell them I can't meet them today because I'm busy.By the way, I need to know where hospital it is right now."tuloy-tuloy kong sabi.
I'm the type of girl that is serious to work but cheerful outside.
"Noted Ma'am"my assistant said and smiled.
"Have you eaten your lunch?"I ask her.
"No Ma'am"
"Eat already. I'll go out"I said and put my coat to my swivel chair.
"Thank you Ma'am"she gladly said.
"You're welcome. Make sure to fix everything while I'm not around okay?"I said and smile as well.
"Noted Ma'am. Take care po. I'll text to you the hospital Ma'am"she answered.
"Thank you. You may go"
"Thank you po talaga Ma'am. Bye po"she said and went out.
I retouch my face before getting my phone.
I loud speaker it and dial Erzaleigh's number.
It rang for a long time but no one's answering.
"You busy?"someone went inside my office.
"Get out Phoenix"I said and dialed James.
"I'm welcome here"he said and sat on my chair.
"Hey! Kaka vaccum lang niyan!"I said and pushed him out the swivel chair.
The phone started ringing.
"Kala mo naman ikaw ang nag vavaccum."he said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Whatever Phoenix. Don't you have works to do?"I asked him.
"Uhh yeah I have. But it's lunch time miss. Yayayain kita"he said and get one of the magazines on my table.
The phone stopped ringing because James already answered.
