Bakugo's POV
It's December 1st and Christmas is coming soon. I can't wait to spend the break with the man I love the most. It's a blissfully cold night, so cold that your breath condensates into a cloud in front of you and your eyelashes can feel every little gust of wind. I'm sitting on the balcony, Kirishima is inside probably sleeping. It's pretty late, maybe 1 in the morning. I fiddle around with my hearing aids taking them off to sit in silence. I started to lose my hearing ever since my quirk developed the loud blasts had slowly stripped away the noise. It was so slow that I didn't really mourn the loss of sound in my life. My parents could not
afford hearing aids when I was younger so I spend a total of 6 years completely deaf. I forgot a lot of things, like the sound of my mother's voice, or the sound of kids playing at the park near my house. U.A has changed all that when I got into the school the whole class pitched in to buy me a pair. I finally could hear the world again. It humbled me. I still enjoy the quiet though and being left to my thoughts helps me calm down. I started going the therapy when I was 10 to help me cope with being deaf and to teach me sign language. Over that time I learned to control my anger as well, I still explode from time to time but I'm less of a dick overall. I can't wait for tomorrow though, it's gonna be me and Kiri's first date. Life can't get any better.
