"Nick, agh, stop it." Fandy complained as Nick mussed up his hair. They we're walking together to Zach's apartment, mostly just because Nick wanted to see where it was. He was dead set on the fact that Zach and Fandy were now meant to be.

How right that assumption would be.

"Your hair looks weird." Nick frowned, swatting it it again. "Did you even try to stick it down?"

"Not really." Fandy confessed, pushing his hand away. "Don't care that much."

This comment made Nick huff, annoyed at Fandy's 'tough-guy' act. "You can pretend you don't care all you want, but the fact that your going back for a second date with him says everything you won't."

Fandy shoved Nick away and walked faster.

"You can't walk away from the truth!" His friend giggled, catching up to him and enveloping him in a tight hug from behind. "I'm glad I'm stuck with you, Fandy."

Fandy turned around, his friend's words worrying him. "What do you mean?"

Nick pulled away, shrugging. "I'm just glad we ended up friends."

"Is everything alright with Patrick?" Fandy asked, putting two hands on each of Nick's shoulders.

Nick looked sad for a minute, looking at the ground, but he recovered quickly, looking back up at Fandy and smiling. "For sure."

"Really?"

"Yes. Don't worry about me, you have to focus on having fun with your man tonight."

Fandy lightly punched his shoulder, then they continued to walk. Fandy took out his phone.

Before they had parted for class, Zach and Fandy exchanged addresses and numbers. Fandy had been left for two days with the taunting option to text Zach, but he knew it would get in the way of his homework and schoolwork.

Zach lived a long walk away, ten minutes, but it was finally warm again, and the sunset was nice to look at.

As they grew closer and closer to Zach's dorm, Fandy got more nervous and nervous. He had taken an overnight bag, along with a package of cheap candy from Nick's side of the fridge. He hoped that was enough of a 'second date' thing to bring. He hoped Zach liked it.

"What room is it again?" Nick asked, and Fandy took out his phone, turning it on and going to Zach's contact.

"45." He answered. At this point, Fandy was feeling more than apprehensive about actually going into this dorm. He would rather walk the ten minutes home then do this.

They found Zach's dorm quickly. "45. Here it is." Nick offered him space in front, and Fandy took it, shoulders sagging.

"I don't want to leave you. How will you get back home? You've seen the news."

Nick shook his head, laughing quietly. "I'll be fine. Just knock, Fandy."

With a hesitant fist raised, Fandy did it. He knocked.

They listened carefully as footsteps traveled to the door, and with a twist, it came unlocked.

There stood Zach, a loose white t-shirt and black sweatpants on, grinning at Fandy. When he glanced at Nick, his grin dimmed. "Hi, Fandy." He greeted the shorter, then nodded at Nick.

"Well, I think I should be on my way now." Fandy left Nick's side, walking inside to stand behind Zach. Nick leaned in, close to Zach so Fandy had to strain his ears to hear. "You better take good care of Fandy."

"I swear I will." Zach said. Nick nodded, and as promised, he was on his way, hands in his pockets, now whistling a tune.

Zach turned around, facing Fandy. "Have you had dinner yet?" He asked.

Fandy nodded. "Nick made me something." Suddenly remembering something important, Fandy dropped his backpack to the floor, unzipping it and pulling out the bag of chocolates. "I brought these for us to share." He bit back a grin at the sight of Zach's face. "Since it's movie night."

"Thank you." Zach took them from him. "Let me just finish cooking dinner. You can go in my room and make yourself at home." Zach motioned to his room, and Fandy nodded, picking up his backpack and walking into the nearby room.

His shoulders relaxed when he entered in, standing in the doorway and taking in the room. He was only glancing at it for a second or two, but in that amount of time, Fandy was able to take in an almost overwhelming amount of Zach.

A lamp was turned on on the bedside table,  casting the whole room in a warm yellow glow. Zach's bedsheets were folded neatly and pulled back, two pillows propped up on the headboard. Fandy placed his backpack on the side of the bed without the table, sitting on the edge of it and rubbing his hands together nervously.

He was incredibly anxious, mostly because he could feel that something bad was about to happen. He couldn't decided if he wanted to he kissed of if he wanted to run away. The idea is Zach's lips sealed firmly against his made him equal parts excited and terrified.

Zach walked in then, holding a white bowl on its bottom and chopsticks in his other hand. Fandy's hands stopped, and he felt more relaxed.

"You look comfortable." He joked, walking to his side of the bed and setting his bowl down. He picked his laptop up from his desk, sitting down on the bed with his legs up and placing the laptop on his thighs.

Fandy shifted his body so that he was now in the same position as Zach, their bodies about half a foot apart. "This is better." He smiled shyly at Zach, who glanced away from the computer to laugh at him.

Zach set up the movie, then put the laptop at their feet. He grabbed his dinner (a bowl of instant noodles) and began to eat while they watched. Fandy had watched the movie before, but he didn't dare to tell Zach. All he could think about was the gap of space between them and all the ways this could end up in a kiss.

It was just about then that Fandy decided to make a move.

It was small, but noticeable. He shifted closer to Zach, hands in his lap, linked together. Zach glanced over, a smirk painting his face. He put his bowl back on the nightstand table.

Five minutes past, both men watching the movie, before Zach shifted his body closer to Fandy's. Fandy noticed quickly, tightening his hands. They were so close it was unbearable.

Another few minutes, and Fandy finally made the move. He shifted over, completing the space between them, then turned to his head give Zach a 'look'.

Zach turned his head too, one eyebrow raised, wondering what Fandy's intentions were.

"Zach." Fandy said, his voice small and slightly raspy. "I want you to kiss me."
