Exactly a week after the tryouts, the casting results were posted. Everyone around Fandy rushed to the bulletin board, picking their names and exclaiming with open mouths their roles. Fandy, instead, waited for space to clear before approaching. His eyes were wide when he finally got to the front, too curious to wait anymore.

He gasped, a hand closing over his mouth.

Fandy Fan - . - . - . - . - . - .- . - . Male Lead

He couldn't believe this.

His first instinct was to call Zach, who had been his rock for a week and a half now. They were official. So official they held hands in the park, fed each other bites of food during breakfast, and more often than not, slept over at one another's dorms.

Chi Chi seemed to pop up out of nowhere, making him jump, and making his phone slip from his fingers.

He caught it, straightening up and facing her.

He didn't miss the fact that she had earned the lead female role. "Fandy-ah!" She exclaimed, grinning at him from ear to ear. "We both got lead roles."

He was about to tell her off, but he had no confidence for that. He faked a smile. "Yeah. Congrats."

She basically fell forward, squeezing him tightly. "I'm so glad that we both got lead roles, Fandy!"

He froze up, not accepting of her touch. He only wanted to be touched by Zach, wherever Zach wanted to touch him. His face, or neck, or hips, or... even lower, it was okay. But not by Chi Chi.

She pulled away. "Maybe we should go get lunch to celebrate." Her smile was sneaky and he wouldn't have caught the intention if Nick hadn't forced him to the party that night. But...

He had to be nice. They were now costars, and he wouldn't give up this opportunity just because he was too uncomfortable pretending to be intimate with a girl.

He sighed. "I guess we can."

She squealed in joy, hugging him again. "I can't wait, Fandy!"

He smiled politely, trying to push her away. He managed to escape to class, only to have her sit down next to him.

His phone buzzed in his pocket. He took it out reluctantly, trying to make sure the teacher didn't see.

Zach: Babe, did you find out what role you got?

Fandy blushed. Zach had gotten into the habit of calling him things like "babe". "Babe, did you want breakfast? Babe, wanna go out today?" He didn't mind it at all, even though it made him blush every time.

Fandy: I GOT THE LEAD!!!!!

He was grinning at his phone as he awaited Zach's response.

Zach: Congrats! See, I told you you were good!

Zach: Wanna go out for lunch to celebrate?

Fandy's grin disappeared. He now had a decision to make. He would either have to lie to Zach or tell him he had already made plans with someone. His costar, a girl, even!

He couldn't ignore it.

Fandy: i have so much work to do with class :(

So here it was. A lie. To Zach. Who had been completely honest with him since they had met. He felt sick to his stomach. Zach didn't deserve this.

Zach: Oh. Alright. See you tonight?

Fandy: of course!

Zach: I'll make you dinner.

Fandy smiled, although he felt guilty. But that didn't last for long. He knew that Zach would never find out if he didn't tell him. And it was only once. A little white lie.

When class ended, Chi Chi followed him out. He was hoping she would forget about the date, but, to his disdain, she linked arms with him and walked out.

"Fandy-ah, I think we should go to the café. They have such good tea." She suggested. He merely nodded, trying not to give her attention. The café happened to be the same one him and Zach went to on their first date.

Suddenly, he was homesick for a person. Homesick for a hand, for those lips, for that deep voice to assure him that everything would be alright. He wanted Zach, not Chi Chi, and he didn't care if he had to mess up the play to get it.

They sat across from each other at the café, Fandy yearning for his Prince Charming to come save him at anytime, but the door didn't open. Chi Chi didn't seem to care that he wasn't listening, because she just kept on talking. He rubbed his temples, clearly bothered, taking out his phone. Maybe he would skip class today and text Zach. Just maybe they could have lunch together and Fandy could tell him the truth. The idea of keeping something from Zach made him sick. It was so easy for the boy to trust him, but what would he do if Fandy lied to him only two weeks into their relationship?

"I'm sorry, I have to go." Fandy said, getting up. He wasn't willing to be around her anymore. And he wanted Zach.

"Fandy, wait." Chi Chi stood up quickly, grabbing onto his bicep. "I wanted to tell you... I wanted to tell you that..." she paused, staring at his lips, before leaning in and pressing a kiss against them.

Fandy immediately froze, his eyes staying wide open in shock. These were not Zach's soft, pink, beautiful lips moving against his. They were thinner, slightly rougher. Not unappetizing, but not home. Fandy knew what right felt like. And this was wrong.

He pulled away. "I have to go."

With that, he darted out of the café, wishing he had never entered.
