Ryan's pov

The nova corps contacted us to talk about peter and I for some reason. "Why would you even know this?" I Asked in confusion

" when we arrested you, we noticed an anomaly in your nervous systems, so we had it checked out." Dey explains

"We're not Terran?" Peter Asked in confusion

"You both are half Terran" the nova prime corrects us "your mothers were from earth. Your fathers, well, they're something very ancient we've never seen before."

"It could be why you both were able to hold the stone fo as Long as you did" Gamora said

" you're friends have arrived" nova prime says " on behalf of nova corps we'd like to express our profound gratitude for your help in saving Xander.if you will follow denadrian Dey, he has something to show you"

"Thank you nova prime" I thanked her as we followed Dey

We went outside and he showed us my ship "We tried to keep it as close to the original as possible, we salvaged as much as we could"

I smiled and I covered my mouth in shock " thank you"

" I have a family. They're alive because of you. You're criminal rocords have also been expunged. However, I have to warn you against breaking any laws in the future."

" question" Rocket said " what if I see something that I want to take, and it belongs to someone else?"

"You will be arrested"

"But what if I want it more than the person who has it?"

" still illegal"

" that doesn't follow. No I want it more, sir do you understand? What you laughing at?" He looks at me as Gamora laugh at him as they wal" why? Can't I have a discussion with this gentleman?"

"What if someone does anything irksome and I decide to remove his spine?" Drax Asked

Dey looks at him awkwardly " that's... that's actually murder. It's one of the worst crimes of all. So also illegal."

Drax nods and walks of leaving only me, Dey and peter " they'll be fine Dey" peter said "we're gonna keep and eye on them"

Dey looks at us in disbelief "you two?"

"Yeah" I said "is."

"You sure you want to do this?" I Asked peter who has been wanting to open his presents after 26 years.

" yeah I want to." The.mn he opens the let and we read it.

"Peter, Ryan, I know these last few months have been hard for you. But I'm going to a better place. And I will be okay. And I will always be with you. Peter you are the light in my life my precious son. And Ryan I'm proud to have you as part of my family my beautiful girl, my little star-lord and star-Light.

I started to cry a little as peter puts his arm around me as we both open the presents together it was a new music set. And we both listen together.

I went up to the seat to drive my ship and noticed that rocket is beside me, we looked at each other and smiled as I noticed the stick started to move knowing a new groot was born.

"So What should we do next?" Peter Asked

"something good? something bad? A bit of both?" I Asked

"We'll follow both your leads, star-lord and star-Light."

Peter and I looked at each other and both of us said it at the same Time "a bit of both"

Then I flew the ship to some where the road has never took us before.
