So this guy that known as ego Pete's father came to us out of nowhere, so peter decided to introduce us, he introduced me last and explained to him that I was the daughter on a being like ego who died along with my mother.

"I hired Yondu to pick peter up when his mother passed away and I didn't know that Ryan was around so I was okay to pick her up too. But instead of returning them Yondu kept them. I have no clue as to why."

"Well I'll tell you why." I said "because we wer skinny kids who could squeeze into places adults couldn't. It made it easier for theiven."

"Well, I've been trying to track both of you down ever since."

"I thought Yondu was your father" Drax assumes

"What?" Peter Asked in confusion " we've been together this whole time and you thought Yondu was Ryan and my actual blood relative?"

"You look exactly alike" he says eating food

"Ones blue" rocket says to Drax

" no he's not our father" I shouted "Yondu was the guy who aducted us kicked the crap out of us to learn how to fight and kept us in terror by threatening to eat us."

Ego looks is in shock "Eat you?"

"Yeah"

"That son of a bitch."

"How'd you locate us now?" Gamora Asked him

"Well even where I reside, out past the edge of what's known we've heard tell about people they call star-lord and star-light. What say we head out there right now? Your associates are welcome. Even that triangle-face monkey." Ego said as I looked to Rocket who was checking if his face was triangle shaped "I promise you. It's unlike any other place you've ever seen and there... I can explain your very special heritage. Finally get to be the father i always wanted to be. Excuse me I've gotta take a wiz."

Ego leaves Gamora Asked peter to walk with her I looked down at the ground wishing that my dad would say that to me if he's alive, I'm actually proud of peter that she still has a family member. What do I have?"

"I am mantis" the girl with big anime eyes introduced herself as she smiles

Drax looks creeped out " what are you doing?"

"Smiling" she said as her smile grows wider "I hear it is that thing to do to make people like you."

"Not if you do it like that like that."

"I was raised alone on egos planet I do not understand the intricacies of social interaction" she looks at Rocket who was licking his hands " can I pet your puppy? It is adorable."

"Yes" She goes to pet rocket but he goes to bite her hand she pulls away before that could happen which made her scream and Drax laugh "that is called a practical joke! Then she laughed with him.

"I liked it very much."

"I just made it up"

Then nebula and I looked at each other we're both sharing Sam expression we're not pleased.

Peter's pov

Gamora and I we walking in the wood I knew whe wanted to talk to me about my father.

"Give me a break. After all this time, you're gonna show up, and all the sudden you wanna be my dad?"

"I hear you."

" and by the was this could be a trap. The kree purists, the ravagers they all want us dead right"

"I know but..."

"But what" I Asked her

Gamora crosses her arms "What was that story you told me about zarzuela hasselfrau?"

" who?"

"He owed a magic boat"

"David hasselholf?" I correct her

"Right."

"It's not a magic boat. A talking car."

"Why did he talk again?"

"To help him fight crime and to be supportive "

" as a child you would carry his picture in your pocket and you would tell the other children that he was your father, but that he was out of town." She says like it's a story

" shooting knight rider or touring with his hand in German I told you that when I was drunk Why are you bringing up?"

"I love that story."

"I hate that story" she scoffs as I continue "it's so sad! As a kid I used to see all the other kids off playing catch with their dad. I wanted, that more than anything in the world."

"That's my point peter. What if this man is your hasselhoff?" I looked at her and didn't say anything " listen if he ends up being evil" she grabs my hand "we'll just kill him."

I nodded "All right but only if Ryan is okay with it she lost her family I don't want her to be left out."  Then Gamora and I went back to the camp.
