chapter eight

Hey guys happy to write today, though am not getting encouragements I believe I will get there..above is our cute rahu, and on the book cover is Amal..

    I had geography and gym after geometry then it was time for lunch, I walked briskly to the cafeteria I couldn't wait to talk to someone, I really don't talk to people at school, just rahu and my tutors, well that's if asked a question.

      I got to the cafeteria quiet early, only a few people were around, I got my lunch and sat on my regular sit taking a sip of my drink and waiting for my friend, some minutes went by before dollar nation passed by making shell of noise as they walked to their table, the way they chattered made everyone stopped and watched them, as for me I only stared at her.
       
      "Can I join you", someone said tapping my shoulders and taking a sit next to mine, were rahu used to be, I took a look at her closely, definitely it was the same girl at the library,
        " Alone all the time, don't you have friends, or at least a friend, okay I get, you are a loner, well I love loners cause I think I transform them after a period of time, don't worry you'll Love my company..."
  And she kept on chattering and chattering I only wondered where rahu was, if he was here I wouldn't be going through this ordeal with a talkative, and then I heard her say
      "....it was so lovely back there, I felt I was a saviour, helping you just when you needed me"
    Before I could grasp an understanding I saw rahu walking..no crawling okay no barely walking into the cafeteria with bruises all over, I got up immediately rushed to him and helped him walk to our table, we got quite an attention from the crowd at the other table but Mayline was first to react, she ran all the way to our table
     " Hey rahu, are you okay??" She began
    "What the fuck!" Said the chatter
    "Who did this to you" l asked him, he didn't reply any of us, he kept panting hard for what seems like forever, Mayline kept on soothing him with her words, while  my anger raged on and on, and then I bursted
         "Who the hell did this to you" I screamed hitting the table, everyone stopped and stared for a long time.

      I had spent the rest of the day at the detention room, of course you should trust me to fight whenever it had to do with rahu, according to rahu, jahi came back to revenge for the last time, they lured him to the school farm that's where they beat him up.
     "I can't believe you fell for their trick" I began to spit out angrily
     " I didn't know man, how would i? I thought it was Mayline"
     "And you aren't familiar with her writing??"
    "Am not!, she hasn't written to me before, man am sorry I had to put you through this shit" he came closer trying to Pat my back, I moved away slowly
    "Am damm tired of you being so weak, so weak, good looks wouldn't solve it all, brains won't too,.."rahu interrupted angrily
    " but I gat no powers, am not a chaldin remember"
    " I know, I know, it isn't just about powers, its about skills, I will have to teach you that from now on "
    "No man, skill yes, but you gat to still have some gift given, and I don't belong" he said sadly
     "So how about me, do I have powers??, have I fought with one?"
     " You do have powers Amal", and then I was shocked.

    "What do you mean??" I asked anxiously, running my hand through my rough hair, pulling away strands from my face,
     "You roared at the cafeteria, you roared like a wolf, you roared when you asked me who hurt me" he blurted, I nodded in disagreement
     "That's not true"
"It is, that's why everyone stared at you and whispered back then, you have an incredible power inside you Amal, you got to let it out"
   

     After what he said I felt uneasy, I couldn't deny it, rahu was not strong but he was definitely smart, and he got this one, no need denying it.
    The rest of the journey home was a quiet one until we got to rahu's place
      "Don't think I will abandon you if you turn out to be a chaldin lord, plus I noticed the other girl you sat with at lunch", then he walked to the door and went in, I smiled, rahu was truly a friend, then my thought line changed, the girl, I didn't even get her name!
