Few weeks after the draft, Jordan was all packed up and ready to move to Texas. She had an apartment lined up and her stuff was going to get there the day she arrived. It was only an hour until she would have to get to MSP airport. She was visiting with her mom, dad, and brother. They were helping her pack up the U-Haul truck with her things From her apartment. Ryland came to pick her up to bring her to the airport.

She hugged her family goodbye, and of course, her mom was crying. Her dad might have even shed a tear also. Her brother, on the other hand, was probably happy to see her go to get away from all her rants about hockey.

Jordan got to the airport, she checked her bags, then went to security. On the way to our gate, a young girl came up to her to ask for her autograph. She didn't know she was that famous. She only played for an AHL team. Well, maybe shoes famous cuz everyone in the hockey world knew about her. She was skeptical that people would like her in the beginning, but she grew on everyone and they loved her.

She boarded the plane and squeeze through the tiny Isle to her seat above the wing. She was lucky enough to have a window seat so that she could watch the plane take off. She turned on Audible and listen to her book. She was currently listening to the Martian by Andy Weir. It was her favorite book. She closed her eyes and soon enough the woman Next to her tapped her shoulder and told her that they were in Dallas already.

After about half an hour, she finally got off the plane. She got her suitcase from the baggage claim, she always knew which When it was cuz it had Breakaway Academy across the side. She walked toward the taxi pick-up area and saw a guy with a sign that read, Jordan Beckett, that must be the guy that supposed to bring her to the American Airlines Center.

She walked toward the guy and he said,

"Are you Jordan Beckett?"

"Yes." She responded.

"Are you the guy bringing me to the American Airlines Center?"

"Yes. My name is Tom and I'll escort you to the rink. Let me take your bag."

"Thanks." Georgia handed her bags to Tom and hopped in the back of the car. She put on her headphones and resumed the Martian on Audible.

She watched The Big City Zoom by in a blur of tan and the occasional Green from cactuses. They finally made it to the huge Arena and she squeezed her way through the doors with her huge goalie bag and her suitcase. She just stood there in until some guy in a suit walked up to her. He asked,

"Are you Jordan Beckett? If so, I'm here the brand new to Jim Montgomery."

"Can I put my stuff somewhere first?" She said. He took her bags then led her to an office.

"I will take your bags to the locker room. Mr. Montgomery will be out in a minute." The guy said. She sat on the chair outside of the door and waited for about 5 minutes. The door opened, and Coach Montgomery came out.
