My hands weakly reached for the glass of water on the table. Slowly, as my hands shake, the wind blows through me and I feel so cold. When I finally reached for the glass, I lost grip of it then it slipped and crashed on the floor. The air wouldn't get in my lungs and I'm really trying my best to breathe but it's hard. My puffer is back at home because I never thought that my asthma would be back and that I'll used it again. The last time that this happened was when I was 9 years old and when Mum and Dad got into a huge fight and they were screaming each other. I was up in my room, crying my heart out until I passed out and I woke up in the hospital.

The wind even blew harder from the window that it sent chills to my skin. Before my eyes closed, I saw Joy looking so worried. "Everything's going to be okay, honey. Just stay with me." Joy said and and everything blacked out.

The smell of flowers stung my nose as I inhaled air. It feels good to be able to breathe normally again. The lights hurt my eyes as I tried to open them. Calum had his head resting on my bed. He was wearing a black hoodie and some shorts. It looks like he's been here all night. Aleisha was lying on the sofa on the corner, sleeping and she also looked like she has been watching me all night. Sometimes I just want to hug them because they are the sweetest best friends in the world. I checked the time, it's only 6:30AM but I'm really thirsty. I'm gonna have to wake them up. My hands are still weak but I managed to tap on Calum's arm. His hairless arm felt warm. We always teased him for not having manly hair on his legs and arms.

As Calum woke up, his eyes widened immediately and he got off his seat. He seemed to be panicking because he pressed the buzzer to call for the doctor. Aleisha woke up from the noise Calum was making and he looked at him.

"Calum? What's wrong?" She asked with her eyes still looking sleepy as she went to me. "Gem, you're awake. How are you feeling?"

"I'm good. Just a little thirsty." I replied, my throat felt really dry. I looked at Calum and he was still panicking. He was pressing the buzzer continuously and all I did was to laugh though it hurts because my mouth was dry. "Calum, calm down." I tried my best to speak as I laughed even more.

He cupped my face with his warm hands and looked at me with his big brown eyes. "I'm so sorry, Gem. I didn't mean to make you upset. I never wanted this to happen. I didn't even know what I was saying." Then he went outside the door. "Where are those fucking doctors?!"

Aleisha was laughing like crazy. "Can you please calm him down, Aleisha? Please? And I'm so thirsty, can you get me some water please?" I requested as my voice kind of cracked. I'm so thirsty!

"Calum, she's just thirsty. She's going to be okay! Sit down and take a beat!" Aleisha told Calum.

Soon enough, the doctor arrived. "What happened?" The doctor asked and Aleisha and I stifled our laughs while looking at Calum.

"She's awake!" He answered.

"Well isn't that a good thing, sir?" The doctor said and he checked on me then left the room. He said that everything was fine with me. I got my water, thank god. I've been really thirsty. Calum kissed me on my forehead and it kind of lingered. It felt like something. Wow, that's new. Aleisha and I looked at each other, dumb-founded.

"Cal, you're being weird. What was that for? I was going to say 'Yuck.' But it was cute." I said as a matter-of-factly. "Never thought you love me this much. Does that mean that you're going to be my slave for a year?" I joked.

"Dude no. It's just about what I did." The door was left open and I saw Michael and Luke. Ashton is probably busy.

Calum continued. "It was really rude what I did last night. I don't know what got into me but I did not mean it." Michael has been laughing at Calum's drama and we laughed along.
