The Choice

Chapter 1

Hello my name is Barry Allen and I am the fastest man who is still alive. A few years ago I was struck by lightning and now I'm working together with my two best friends Cisco Ramon and Catlin Snow at a place called Star labs along with our boss Harry wells.  There we investigate meta humans who are people with special powers.

For me, my Team Flash Team is like a big family, where we all have our problems, but we all resolve together with the help of our powers. My powers are speed, body vibration, electokinesis, Enhanced streng, aerokinesis, and a lot more. Caitlin has the power of ice so her "alter ego" is called Killer Frost and she helps us on our missions and Cisco is Vibe, who can predict a bit of the future and see the past.

Then we have Harry helping us on the missions, he is the one who helps us solve the most problems related to chemistry and physics. We have Joe, who helps us more on the basis of police power, whenever they have a warning of a crime that does not seem at the normal beginning, he calls us to see if there is a possibility of being a human goal.

My mother died when I was very small because of the Reverse Flash, which is the name Cisco invented for my main enemy and my father was arrested for a crime he did not commit. My father eventually died in Jay's hands and it was the worst time of my life, because it is not easy to see our parents being killed in front of me but fortunately I had my friends who helped me in this very bad phase of my life.

Today I am more stable and happy, I work at the CCPD as a medical examiner and I give a hand at Star labs. I'm engaged to my best friend Iris West and we're getting married in a couple of months. We were all at Star Labs one day when we got word of a newspaper from the future so we went to see what it said and had a text about my disappearance more than 25 years written by the famous journalist Iris West-Allen and that's when we learned that she and I would be married in the future. After a confrontation with Savitar, my bad version of another dimension, tell us that Iris in the future would die and after that we did everything in our power to prevent it from happening.

With the help of Cisco, who used his powers, we realized that in the future that Savitar had mentioned, Iris and I were still not married or engaged, so the way to save her was to marry her. The following week I asked her to marry her and she accepted.

Dating, being engaged or even married to her was my dream since I was little, I always liked her more than she liked me, since she was in love with Eddie, a co-worker at CCPD. When he died, we are approaching and now we are getting married.

After coming from SpeedForce, everything was working out and I was very happy about it ... It was finally making sense in my life!

"Barry be careful, you know what happens to you when you do not have it," Caitlin said to my ear.

We were after a human, or a meta, called Music Miester, that whenever he looks into a person's eyes for a long time, he could "transport" it to a parallel reality, that is, it was like a dream but very real because if the person would get hurt in the dream, she would run the same danger in real life.

I was with Wally, the younger brother of Iris, who also has powers, looking for the Music Meister when I saw him being thrown through the air, when I turned, the meta was right in front of me and with a blow he threw me to the ground and looked me in the eyes, where blue sparks were replacing the color of his eyes.

- Hello Flash! I was really dying to find you .... Have a good night!

POV CAITLIN:

After Barry left with Wally for the mission to bring the Music Miester to our base, I heard a bang in my ear and I knew if anything had happened.

"Barry ... Barry ... answer me," i said but didnt hear anything in response from the other side. "He's not responding, Cisco.

"Caitlin, we need you!" Wally said as he arrived with Barry in his arms.

"Put it on the stretcher," I said and Wally did so. "What happened?"

"We were looking for him, but he must have been waiting for us.... He struck me in the back, and then it seems that he hypnotized Barry. He's in a kind of dream."

"How can we get him back?" Iris asked, who was also at Star Labs.

"First we have to capture the man who did this, only he can respond to that!" Said Harry, approaching me and Cisco. "You have to go look for him, he'll be in the same place I'm sure ... He wants to see the what happens to Barry and your powers, I know you can succeed in the mission and get information on how we can save our friend."

Me and Cisco prepared to go through the portal he opened and we went to the same place where Wally and Barry had had the encontre with Music Miester. Harry was right because he was still there to see what looked like a movie, on a television.

- Vibe, we finally meet ... I would know that you came. - Music said turning to us. - Ow, you brought a friend!

"Let's get rid of these bullshit, you have to come with us!" Said Killer Frost, my alter-ego.
