POV Barry: A week later....
A week has passed since Caitlin and I started dating and it's been the happiest days of my life. We rarely argue and when we do, we sort things out with conversations that always end in kisses and caresses. Our friends received the news with joy, mainly Cisco who just did not make the pin because he can not do it.
Iris congratulated us and now we're becoming the best friends we were until our relationship started... Joe was delighted with the news, just like Cecile. Today I received an email invitation inviting me and the team to attend the wedding of Oliver Queen and Felicty Smoak. The wedding was a month from now so I went to the lab to talk to the staff.
This month started to run and today was the day before Oliver and Felicity's wedding day, so we were on our way to Star City. When we got there, some of us stayed in the now Oliver's queen mansion and had plenty of rooms for us to stay in, but Joe, Cecile and the girl stayed and the house of a friend of Joe who was on vacation and the house was empty.
"How do you feel?" I asked as I reached the edge of Oliver.
- Happy but a little scared ... But I'm sure this is what I want - replied Oliver smiling. - Barry can I ask you something?
- Of course, whatever you need.
"Do you want to be my best man?" Oliver asked, smiling.
- Seriously? I? Of course I accept!
I didn't want to believe that tough Oliver Queen had asked me to be his best man. Although he looks tough, he has a heart of gold and I am so glad to be playing this role on the most important day of his life.
The rest of the afternoon was spent between Oliver's house and Felicity's because we wanted to go visit her and Caitlin wanted to hear her in some last-minute things. We were all exhausted today, we had a lot of last-minute things to prepare yet, and with everyone helping it was so much easier. We all went to sleep and when we woke up we had to get ready.
I went to the closet and from there took off my cross with my suit and put it on. Caitlin did the same with her dress, and unlike the other couples, who expect one to get dressed and then the other comes, we were not ashamed to see ourselves in smaller dress. Ten minutes later Caitlin and I were ready and we headed for the Queen Mansion room waiting for the others to go to church.
