9. Waltz of Transience

~A/N Mina's outfit for the ball. And because of her being connected to Ritsuka as her guardian angel Mina also holds a fragrance of the forbidden grimoire. However, being a human, half-angel and half-demon hybrid, she doesn't hold a strong enough scent for the devils and vampires to become attracted to her like Ritsuka is to them.~

Mina's Pov;

Today is finally the day of the school's Cultural Festival. But before it begins everyone is setting up everything, such as the booth they decided on and preparing the food and much more. At the end of the day, a formal ball is attended for all the students. Ritsuka still has a heavy burden after everything that happened, and ever since then, Rem hasn't shown his face around the school. However, that doesn't stop the other devil council members, and with the vampire attacks Lindo, Azuna, and myself have decided that either one of us or all of us are to be by Ritsuka's side 24/7. Even if it is a little extreme, but with everything that's happened, we can't be too careful. Until Ristuka's 17th birthday safely passes.

And so, the four of us are now walking to school with the festival already underway.

Ristuka; "It's totally different from other cultural festivals in junior high!"

Lindo; "Yeah!" Is what both Ristuka and Lindo in fascination.

Azuna; "Well it is your first time going to one."

"Yeah, the Shikou Gakuen festivals are always spectacular. As for the dance, tonight will be even grander!"

Lindo; "Wow!" In utter astonishment is what preceded the young red-haired.

Third pov;

"Thank you!" Said the little girl as she and her mother went away from our food stand booth of selling pancakes, where Azuna Ritsuka and Mina are the workers. But then Ritsuka looked and saw that Lindo had wedged himself between two booths not-so-secretly hiding within their shadows.
