Chapter 17: Thanks to You

One week later...

Lisa: "Sector E?"

The heroes have received orders to head over to Sector E.

Man: "You're to receive a detailed plan on our infiltration of Sector E, due to it's unique access points."

Chase: "Glad to hear it."

Hammerhead: "We're more than ready for another round!"

The three step onto the teleporter pads before arriving in a more ragged version of Sector B.

Chase: "Whoa..."

???: "I was wondering where you newbies would show up."

The strange Accelerator was waiting for them.

Lisa: "Newbies?"

Accelerator: "I'm the reason you're even here."

She begins walking towards the office.

Chase: "Huh?"

Accelerator: "Follow me."

Chase: "If you say so..."

They awkwardly follow through the uneasy crowd.

Ten minutes later...

Accelerator: "Yo, big shot!"

A man wearing a brown vest and an assortment of chains turns towards the heroes.

Big Shot: "Thank you Julie."

He looks towards the others.

Big Shot: "So you look eager to get to your next infiltration."

Hammerhead: "There really isn't much else to do here."

Big Shot: "(chuckling) Sounds about right."

He pulls out a map of an undersea, glass dome.

Big Shot: "One way in and one way out."

A glass tube connects the dome to the surface.

Hammerhead: "So we book it over there before Accelerators kick our asses?"

Big Shot: "That what you four are going to do."

Chase: "Four?"

Julie: "Please tell me you're just blind, not stupid."

They look towards Julie.

Big Shot: "Julie will be joining the Infiltration Team."

Lisa: "Really?"

Julie looks towards them.

Julie: "I was the one who implanted a virus into MONO that allowed your consciousnesses to temporarily resurface."

Big Shot: "A genius plan if I do say so myself."

The three are dumbfounded.

Hammerhead: "Wow..."

They can hear footsteps outside.

Big Shot: "Are you ready?"

Chase: "We kind of don't have a choice."

Julie: "Good. Follow me."

They head out towards their next destination...
