The sun began to sink low on the horizon. The air smelt like strong powerful rains were on the way.
"Hi Dawnfur I am very excited to when I get to be a warrior!" hazelpaw mewed.
Midnight had planned The naming Ceremony for the next day.
"Go get some rest Hazelpaw you have a big day tomorrow.
The night was finally over in what felt like forever. I could not contain my excitement.
"Wake up Jaypaw! Today's the day we get to be warriors!" Hazelpaw said sneaking her brother awake.He mumbled and sat up.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey meet here at the high rocks."Midnights voice echoed through out camp.
"Today is a special day for everyone. Today is the day all of Pineheart kits get to be warriors! Come on up Hazelpaw,Jaypaw,Skypaw,And Rosepaw.Its time." She barked out.
The excitement filled the apprentices until they were practically humping onto high rocks.
"Jaypaw,Skypaw,And rosepaw, will you take responsibility and defend the clan even if it means risking your own life." Midnight barked.
" yes we will defend the clan no matter what it takes." They mewed excitedly.
" all right Jaypaw your new Warrior name is JayPool. SkyPaw your new warrior name is Skyfur. And finally Rosepaw your new warrior name is Rosefeather." She barked proudly.The small crowed started chanting their names.Hazelpaw was now very sad because she though she would not get to be a warrior.
"And Hazelpaw. You have chosen to be the apprentice of Dawnfur and take the path of a medicane cat.Your new warrior name is Hazelpool." The entire crowed went wild.
A few moons later dawnfur had some shocking news for the clan. She was having kits.
"Has anyone seen Dawnfur?" Moonfur asked.
"No ones seen her all day I hope she's alright. Mabe she's just doing Dawnfur thing's. " Midnight laughed.
A few hours later Dawnfur came back with three fluff balls.
"Dawnfur what are those?" Hazelpool said
"MY kits." She said proudly.
"KITS?" everyone screamed.
" I didn't know that You were having kits? What are there names?"
"I didnt have them silly! My sister rosepetal gave me then toblook after.ButThe white one is Treekit, The black one is Midkit and the Spotted black,brown,and white one is Springkit." She mewed.
The days turned into months. Moonfur was very stressed about something. And midnight had secrets.
But the real danger lied just around the corner...........
