As the leafbare snow fell against the pelts of cats as they chased after a rabbit.
"Gotcha!" Dawnfur mewed carring a rabbit over to hazelpaw.
I'm going out for medicane Hazelpaw ok."
The day went on and Dawnfur didn't come back. Hazelpaw and Moonfur decided to go look for her. They found her caught in a fox trap. They freed her .Skulka had randomly dissapered 2 moons ago and they still couldn't find her. After they returned from saving dawnfur, Hazelpaw heard rustling in the bushes near camp.
"Hey guys!Come here there's something her." Hazelpaw yelled
The entire clan padded quickly over to her. They all heard the rustling when a gray wolf popped out of the bushes.
" Hello, My name is Karma and I'm here to warn you about a very dangerous cough called Red cough. It's worse than Black cough." Karma said.The clan stood there in silence until Dawnfur spoke up.
"A cough worse than Black cough? how is that possible and what is red cough?" Karma paused for a second the spoke.
"Red cough is a cough that is caused by black parasites that hide in trees and other living things. It turns all of you or you white spots red and then it kills you after you cough a lot." Karma replied
Hazelpaw sat there scared. was she going to catch it just like she had with black cough?
"I've heard about that before when I was a young kit."Dawnfur said. "The Elders of thunderclan told us that it only happens every 1000 years."
Midnight gasped.
"Dawnfur! Your turning red!"Midnight screamed as they were walking to the second den.
Karma quickly clawed at the parasite location and a black looking work came put of the scratch karma just made on Dawnfur.
They All sprinted away from the parasite and found them selves in thunderclan territory.There were dead cats and infected cats all over. They kept into action starting cats. By the time they made it to Firestars den he was almost dead. All of a sudden 7 animals of different kinds appeared in his den and attempted to save firestar. But they were to late
Firestar was dead for good because he had just wasted his last life. A few moons passed after the red cough epidemic and there alot of adventure in the cats futures. The cats of the lost clan all snapped awake. then they relized that the red cough was a dream. Or was it...
