The scent of rain filled the air.
"Sigh, another rainy Day!" A Toms voice said.
A brown Tabby Tom padded up to the Tom.
"Darkpelt, What's our next move" The Tom said.
Darkpelt laughed.
"You'll see brother, You'll See."
Dawnfur pelt bristled
as the wind
whipped around.
"There's a storm on
the way." She thought.
"That's going to be fun."
She padded over to
the fresh kill pile,
grabbing a plump
mouse for Hazelpool.
Her kits had only
been born 4 moons
ago, Right before the
Big oil spill happened.
She carries the mouse up to Hazelpool and Dropped it in front of her.
"Thank you Dawnfur." Hazelpool gentle voice said.
The Sound of thunder rolled across the sky.
"Hey Dawnfur?" Hazelpool mewed. " Do kits handle storms well?"
She nodded.
"No."
The scent of Moonfur filled the nursery as She walked in.
"Has anyone seen Blackwing And Starshine?" She Mewed
All the cats shook their heads.
"No. But I hope they come back soon, There's a storm coming." Dawnfur mewed. A big crack of lightning Flashed. The Kits all freaked out.
The crack of lightning startled Blackwing.
"Mabe we should go back to camp Starshine." The black Tom said anxiously.
She shook her head.
"No! We have to wait longer until we tell Our parents." She Hissed.
"What's the worst that could happen?" Blackwing said.
Starshine sighed.
"I dont know if Our kits would be accepted." She finnaly said.
Blackwings ears perked up to the sound of Mutiple cats voices.
"Come on! We've got to find them Sunrise!" A she-cats new said.
Starshine recognized the voices as her sisters Lunarshine and Sunrise.
"Lets go our separate ways and try and find them." Lunarshine said.
Sunrise went the other way.
As the rain fell harder, The mist was coming off of the lake, making it hard to see.
Starshine lost the scent of blackwing.
"Blackwing? Where did you go?" Starshine searched frantically.
Another crack of lightning Flashed as A big oak tree fell down on top of starshine..
