The ground was very muddy as some slush layer on the cold ground. The lost clan members stood at there second dens. "Come back here Sunkit your going to get hurt!" Skulka shouted as she ran after Sunkit. A hour later Dawnfur was talking to Hazelpool when Skulka came back with a limp ball of fluff. Dawnfur stood up and padded over to Skulka immediately.
"What happened to sunkit?"Midnight asked looking at the small ball if fluff.
"She slipped and fell off a small cliff side.I dont know if shes dea-"
"WHAT! no Sunkit can't be dead!" Dawnfur said freaking out in panic. Sunkit began to awake but xoilent stand.They brought sunkit back to xamp and midnight decided to calla clan meeting."Let all clan members meet at the Cliffside." Midnight barked out to the clan.The cats gathered around The small cliff.
"Today we will be naming three apprentices. Can I please have Starkit,Lunarkit, And Sunkit meet here. The kits happily padded up with the help of Dawnfur. Do you promise to look after your clan as an apprentice?"Midnight asked.
All three kits shook their heads.
"Great!Your new names from now until you become warriors are Starpaw, Lunarpaw, And Sunpaw."
The cl an chanted their names as Pineheart came back with fresh kill.
The next few days passed and Sunpaw was limping around camp alot.Dawnfur pilled Sunpaw into the medicane den and pit cobwebs on her foot.
"The fresh kill tastes funny!" She heard Starpaw yell.
"What are those red things in its belly?" Lunarpaw asked as Dawnfur padded over to them. She glanced into the rabbit and saw berries.
"Don't way those! Those are death berries!" Dawnfur Said pulling the apprentices a way from the fresh kill.
The young apprentices new about death berries and if you are even just one of could kill you. Starshine felt Her stomach flip. as she realized she had consumed five. A few simple rises passed and the fresh kill didn't get any better. Until one day Swiftstorm came back into camp with a very familiar black tom......
