"I had a weird feeling." Papa didn't waste time in greetings and got straight to the point.
It was an hour or so after the whole Scott incident. The kids had eaten and were getting ready for bed. I was in the bathroom on my new room—which was pretty amazing. It wasn't too big like the one back home but it was super pretty and adorable. The walls were painted a cozy crème color instead of plain white. The ceilings were high since they were slanted upwards with exposed beams and shiplap wood adorned all the walls and up to the ceilings giving it an extremely cozy, rustic look.
Since I was on the west side of the house and my room was located right at the end of endless rooms, my room was shaped like a triangle but it wasn't cramped or too small—not that I minded because I was lucky that I even got a room. Right when you enter my room you were greeted with the wall on your left being dressers and storage while the other was a sliding crème door leading into my medium sized closet.
Beyond the closet and dresser by the door, the first thing that had caught was the double-door balcony facing the backside of the property. There was even a small wooden table with a small chair on the balcony—I almost squealed at the sight. My bed was pushed up to the left of the room next to the raised wall that housed a small square window. The bed was king-sized and on a wooden platform on the ground. The sheets were left white with accented brown pillows. Next to the double French doors was a small wicker chair. The bathroom was on the left side of my bed.
In front of my new bed was a lovely white, wooden TV stand with some extra storage. The TV was normal 30 inch plasma with a DVD player.
It was simple, clean, but cute. I liked it—really liked it. Nothing was too personal which left me free room to decorate—if I was allowed anyway.
The bathroom was simple but stunning. It was a decent size. The woods were a light color. The vanity had a beautiful under sink and a generous amount of counter space with some storage for my girly items below the sink and a few drawers were added. There was a window between the sink, above the toilet, and beside the beautiful bathtub/shower. The wall adorning the bathtub was porcelain tile in a subway pattern and accented with a ceramic bathtub. The knobs to the vanity, the faucet, the shower railings, and shower heads were all black contrasting wonderfully against the white of the room.
