Chapter 8

It's been a week since I got fired.

All thanks to those ballsacks.

It was Monday again. Oh gods just shoot me down where I stand. Just the thought of having to had to go to school already gotten my bitch mode on. My only saviour, Flynn had come down with a flu. Of all times. I made sure to kick his sorry ass before coming to school though.

Facing Tyler Conner Grey and his gang of imbeciles without ripping them apart was going to be a chore.

I trudged towards school, feeling like a thunderstorm. I was still cussing under my breath and I barely caught sight of a pair of  high heels in front of me and I stopped in my tracks just centimeters away from knocking into the person.

"Sor—" I looked up, and in front of me, was one of the Populars.

"Oh, look who woke up on the wrong side of the bed. How was your weekend, Cleo?" Daphne sneered. Wonderful, she was either being snarky (And failing horribly too if I might add) or she was a downright bimbo.

I preferred the latter.

I wanted to sass her back, but having math as my first period slot, I decided against it. I re-adjusted my bag and ignored her as she stared back at me, gaping. Daphne had obviously had not expected me to go down like that without a showdown but low-and-behold.

Apparently, she had other plans. That is, making my life miserable.

"Oh, I seem to have mispronounced your name. Chloe, was it? Well I'm not done with you yet. What's going on between you and Tyler is what I'm after. Did you know he ticked me off for laughing at you, a nobody?" she said poisonously.

At that, I stopped. Why would he stand up for me? I looked at her vivid expression, trying hard to not laugh.

Besides, what could be funnier than an offended walking fake barbie?

I turned away just before my expression cracked and then walked off.

Behind me, I heard a frustrated scream. I could picture everyone turning to look at the hot mess that was Daphne. Huh. Sucks to be her.

Walking through the halls towards my locker, I got envious and dirty looks from maybe all the girls in school, whom were especially slutty today, what with cleavage bulging and panty lines showing through their tight skirts.

Geez did the bookshop run out of decent uniform?

As I reached my locker, I spun the dial and slinked my bag inside, taking out my 'math survival equipment'. I was just about to close my locker when slam.

"What the hell is wrong with–" I started, preparing to bitch out on whoever it was. Leaning on the locker next to mine, one hand on my locker, with a familiar smirk on his face, towering over me, was Tyler.

"Hey there gorgeous, how ya' doin?" he started. I was about to open my mouth to shut him up when he said, " We need to talk."

The first bell rang. Dead silence surrounding me.

Why the heck would Tyler want to talk to me?

I whipped my head around to cautiously scan the current situation and sure enough, every single person was staring back at me.

Just how I wanted to start my day...

"After school, meet me outside the gates," I said. After hesitating, "We'll go to the park for a talk. Only because its near Flynn, the bastard."
