Silvermoon stared at her father, exploding with happiness. "Tigerfang!" She cried happily, running to her father. Tigerfang smiled, touching his nose to Silvermoon's. Bramblepaw stared up at him, gasping. "Y-You're the cat that gave me my power!" Bramblepaw meowed. Tigerfang looked down at him. "I didn't give it to you, I told you son." He purred. "It's nice to meet you in person Bramblepaw. I'm so proud of you and all." Tigerfang smiled.
"Tigerfang, we came to ask for an explanation. Why is Bramblepaw's future vision so weird? Why does he need it?" Multistar asked, Mudkit on his back and playing with his tail. "The Clans will receive a new rank, which will require future vision. We thought, Bramblepaw would be a good test for the emotional aspect of it. There's other cats who will receive future vision and will become a new rank. This is the best answer I can give you without getting in trouble with the commission." Tigerfang meowed. "The commission?" Asked Branchstalk. "The highest order of StarClan. You'll learn about them when you're in StarClan." Her father replied. Silvermoon looked to her father. Time to clear it up now. "Redsnow killed you, didn't he?" She meowed. Multistar and Bramblepaw gasped behind her, but Branchstalk stepped beside her. Tigerfang started to walk away, but Silvermoon ran after him. "Dad!" She begged. "Wake up." He hissed.
Silvermoon jolted awake with fear, panting quietly. "What do we do with this?" Bramblepaw asked, quivering. Multistar looked to Silvermoon and Branchstalk. "You knew Redsnow killed Tigerfang?" He asked, his eyes widened. "Branchstalk witnessed it." Silvermoon replied. Branchstalk nodded, licking Bramblepaw's cheek to calm him. "Did you know?" Her brother asked with a slight snarl. "Redsnow told me.. Redsnow has always been honest with me, since kit-hood. I took him in from a rouge camp, and raised him and his brother with my own kits. It helped me cope for the lose of Mudkit, and him cope with the lose of his parents. But than, Tigerkit, your father, started teasing him for being a rouge. I guess it boiled up inside him, and he lashed out while he had the chance. Redsnow has always been.. explosive." Multistar explained bitterly, his eyes sunken. "But why not exile him?" Bramblepaw cried. "I still.." The leader cut himself off. "He's my son.. just as Darkeye, Hollyeyes, and Mudkit are my children. Redsnow may not have made from me, but he has made a home with me. I, I trust him with my life." Multistar meowed, standing proud. "If you ever have kits, you'll understand. The love you feel for them over weighs their wrongs." Was all Multistar said, before leaving the cave.

Silvermoon had been thinking of what Multistar said. All through out the sunrises and sunsets throughout the moon. She was still thinking of it. She loved Branchstalk like that. If he ever committed murder, would she forgive him? Would she forgive Cloudtuft? Or Smallpaw? She loved and cared for her apprentice as if.. as if Silvermoon raised him. Silvermoon padded into the training area with him, for the final time. He'd be taking his assessment today. "Smallpaw," She murmured. Smallpaw looked at her, smiling. "Yes Silvermoon?" He purred. "Today is your assessment, you'll be trying to hunt. I'll near by." Silvermoon instructed. Smallpaw nodded, a determined look in his eyes. He was about to race off, before Silvermoon called him. "Yes?" He asked. "Good luck." She purred.
Moving as quiet as a mouse, Silvermoon observed her apprentice. Smallpaw was tracking down a squirrel as it moved under the underbrush. She saw Smallpaw lure it out by pouncing on the other side of the underbrush. The squirrel scattered from underneath, and leaped onto a tree, squirming up it. Smallpaw jumped onto the tree, slinking on the tree like he was the squirrel. Silvermoon was impressed, and gave a proud smirk. Smallpaw was quite a good climber, much like Silvermoon. She trekked carefully across a branch to get a better view. Smallpaw leap onto the branch the squirrel was heading, and as it was about to jump away again, caught it by the tail, pushing it onto the branch and nipping it's neck. Silvermoon burst with happiness. "Good job Smallpaw!" She purred. Smallpaw looked at her from across the tree. "Silvermoon!" He gasped. "Did I pass?" Her apprentice asked. Silvermoon nodded with a happy smile. "You did amazing."
Passing Bramblesight, Bearface, Hopfire, and Rowanflame as she passed through the camp, Silvermoon padded into Multistar's den. "Smallpaw has passed his assessment." She purred. "Multistar went to go visit Star Pool again with Badgersight. I'll give him his name." Meowed Redsnow. Blackfeather and Badgersight were behind him, Blackfeather looking angry and Badgersight looking solemn. She tensed up, standing in front of Smallpaw protectively. "Its alright Silvermoon, I really want my name!" Smallpaw purred happily, holding his squirrel still. "Really now?" Redsnow meowed. "Wait outside."
"Smallpaw, from now on, you will be known as, Smalleye." Silvermoon felt anger fill her. "Change it!" She hissed. "Name him for his bravery and clear head, not his physical set backs. He managed to hunt with one eye, fight with one eye, and live with one eye, he deserves a better name." Silvermoon growled. Blackfeather leaped at her, Silvermoon just barely dodging. "I name whoever I want when I want. You want to complain? Go ahead, see what happens." Redsnow growled, lashing his tail. Smalleye looked to Silvermoon, as she was about to speak again. "Silvermoon, I'm okay with this name. It.. It suits me.." Her former apprentice meowed softly. "I'm not." Silvermoon growled, about to march to high-rock when Cloudtuft stopped her, pressing his face to hers. "Shh.. We can't change everything." Silvermoon met eyes with Redsnow, growling before turning away and storming out of camp.
