As the days pass, it's obvious that something is up with Namjoon. Yeosang was the first to notice when the two were assigned to cleaning the dining area.
Second to notice was Jin, Namjoon kept taking sharp inhales when they were cooking dinner and nearly vomited when he smelled the food. Jin was offended at first and was ready to scold Namjoon for being so rude
Everyone else noticed during training lessons, he hit his head on the cement when he fainted
"We'll figure it out" Baekhyun told everyone in the living room
The younger ones were a mess and the elders were unsure of what was going on
"W-What happened to him?" Jungkook asked face stained with tears holding onto Taehyung
Solar and Hwasa cleared their throats and stood up, "h-he made me promise to not tell anyone" Solar whispered, but began to speak louder as she explained
"When he was shot he didn't think nothing of it until a few days ago when his health began to gradually decline"
"Baekhyun and I have been spending our time in the basement working on a cure for him, but it hasn't been successful" Hwasa admitted
"We know that we're getting closer, but we can't figure out what was in that bullet and it's too risky for any of us to go back and find out, Ren's brother knows all of us" Baekhyun tried explaining as best as he could
"Why didn't he tell us?" Renjun asked looking at Johnny who seemed conflicted
"He didn't want us to worry, I didn't even know about this. He didn't want us to know that he was hurting" Johnny explained
"It's not fair, he's not supposed to die, he doesn't get to go like this" Jin cried
"Remember that night we all got drunk and he said he wanted to live in a world where we didn't have to worry about being part of the one percent" Yoongi laughed bitterly
"Then he went on to talk about how he'll grow old and get a bonsai tree" Hobi laughed
"Or the time that he slipped and broke the tennis rackets after forcing us to play with him"
"Yeah Renjun and Jungkook turned the tennis ball machine to it's highest and broke a window" Jin said making everyone burst out laughing
That's how they spent Namjoon's final moments gathered around telling stories of the strong leader who helped them and tried his hardest to make everyone happy
"Kim Namjoon was a strong man who wanted nothing but for us to be happy, he died a hero to all of us" Jin spoke
"What we're not going to do is lay around the faculty feeling sorry, we're going to continue to be strong for Joon because he stayed strong for us even in his last moments" Johnny cried hitting his fist on the podium
"We'll honor him by putting an end to everything" Yoongi said
"I miss him" Jungkook cried while being comforted by Tae and Felix
"We all do bun" Tae whispered and Felix nodded
