The next morning, Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa all sat in Bella's room and gossiped  about the ball the previous night. They wanted to know everything that happened at the party and how fun it was.

Narcissa got quite giggly at the talk about Bellatrix and Rodolphus' marriage while Andromeda looked solemn and slightly worried - Bellatrix knew she was scared she would be forced into a marriage herself so soon.

Unfortunately for them, Christmas was coming to an end and it was nearly time to go back to Hogwarts. Bellatrix was definitely not looking forward to leaving her sisters behind after weeks of fun.

She dreaded leaving behind her family and going into the horrible Hogwarts which was filled with Mudbloods and blood traitors.

The next few months flew by in a flash and before Bellatrix knew it, Andromeda was getting ready for her first year at Hogwarts. Bellatrix was delighted she had someone to go to school with.

"Bella, do you think the students and teachers will like me there?" She asked worriedly, the night before the 1st September, while carefully placing her robes in her trunk.

"Of course they will, Andy. No one likes me except the pure bloods and that's only because I'm a Black. Try and make friends with the girls in your dorm, they'll like you well enough, you're too kind," She replied reassuringly.

Andromeda looked unsure, but relieved all the same. They closed their trunks quickly and placed them near the door for the next day.

Soon after, Bellatrix went up into her bedroom and fell on her bed, the soft mattress enveloping her in a deep sleep, looking forward to the following day.

The next morning was extremely rushed and Andromeda and Bellatrix barely made it on time to Kings Cross Station under their Mothers orders.

Andromeda also had a talk with their father in the morning and he had gifted her a silver eagle quill, for which she was extremely happy to receive.

"We made it!" Bellatrix exclaimed as she and Andromeda pushed their trunks and they arrived on the other side of the wall.

"Phew! I was worried we were going to miss the train!" Andromeda sighed, extremely relieved.

"Come on the train, Andy, before it gets too crowded," Bellatrix said quickly rushing them both inside.

They went inside, looking at compartment after compartment. Bellatrix seemed to be looking for someone or something.

Bellatrix decided to show Andromeda around to the other purebloods in the different compartments.

"That's Amycus Carrow, Augustus Fawley, Theodora Yaxley, Araminta Avery, and thats Ophelia Greengrass,"

They all welcomed her jovially as no one wanted to anger and flame Bellatrix's fiery temper this early in the morning.

Andromeda introduced herself to them politely as she was always taught. She realised that no one really knew much about her, there was a sort of mystique around the Black sisters, as they had always been sheltered by their parents.

Bellatrix left after some boring small talk as she was always more impatient than her sister.

Bellatrix walked till the end of the train until she reached the last compartment. Bellatrix opened the door to the last compartment and plopped herself down in front Rodolphus Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy and some other boy who looked just like Rodolphus.

She patted the seat next to her and looked at Andromeda expectantly. Andromeda sat down and turned to face everyone else.

"Your sister, Bellatrix?" inquired Lucius Malfoy coolly.

"Yes," Bellatrix replied.

"Another Black, eh? What's your name?" Rodolphus asked peering at Andromeda.

Andromeda shrunk down in her seat from Rodolphus' glare but replied quietly, "Andromeda. Andromeda Black,"

"Well my brother, Rabastan is starting Hogwarts this year as well, Andromeda, at least you know someone,"

Rabastan nodded at her and Andromeda smiled briefly at him.

"Is she like you? Merlin knows I can't handle another Bellatrix," Rodolphus sighed dramatically.

"She's a lot quieter and calmer than me, Lestrange, nothing for you to worry about,"

"Good," Lucius gave her a smile that did not reach his eyes. "Here's some advice, don't interact with the Mudbloods. Stick to your fellow Slytherins, your own kind,"

The rest of the train ride passed in small talk between the four of them, while Andromeda stared out of the window admiring the Scottish mountain scenery silently.

When they finally reached Hogsmeade Station, Andromeda immediately clinged onto her older sister, following her around everywhere.

Finally, Bellatrix had to tell her that she was to take the boats to school instead of the carriages.

She hurriedly went across to the Black Lake to take the small boats across.

——————-
Bellatrix couldn't help but marvel at the beautiful starry Hogwarts ceiling. It had bright stars juxtaposing the dark navy background which was the night sky.

She sat down at the Slytherin table eagerly, she could not wait for Andromeda to be sorted.

Somewhere at the back of her mind, a thought kept on nagging her about which house Andromeda would be sorted in. Sure she was kind, but Andromeda could become very fierce and violent when made mad. That ruled out Hufflepuff. There was absolutely no way in hell she would be placed in Gryffindor. She was a Black. The idea was simply ridiculous! Bellatrix was unsure about Ravenclaw, Andromeda was too studious and intelligent for her own good and she was extremely competitive. What if she got in? What would her parents say?

Bellatrix pushed the idea out of her mind, Andromeda would be a Slytherin, right?

Bellatrix tapped her foot impatiently at the start of the ceremony, waiting eagerly for Andromeda's turn. Finally McGonagall's sharp voice rang across the hall.

"Black, Andromeda"

Andromeda's thin figure made her way to the hat and sat on the worn down stool. Moments passed and Bellatrix was getting more and more anxious. Why hadn't the Sorting Hat placed her in Slytherin yet?

A few minutes passed and people were starting to get more and more impatient. Andromeda was starting to look more and more anxious and Bellatrix could feel her heart in her mouth.

Finally the words that lifted heart and mood immensely rang out,

"SLYTHERIN" The Hat bellowed.

Andromeda looked extremely relieved and almost ran towards her older sister and the Slytherin table.

Bellatrix released a sigh of relief she didn't know she had been holding in as on moved up to give space for Andromeda.

She ran her hand through Andromeda's dark hair and placed her arm around her waist. Her sister was finally with her in Hogwarts!
