(4) Leaving For Vacation

It was the morning that they were leaving for Christmas vacation. Kinley had her blonde hair in braids and her glasses on. A pair of sweats and Aiden's old football hoodie from when he was a freshmen. She came into the kitchen pulling her suitcase behind her she looked around her kitchen saw her future sister in law Ashley she was engaged to Max he claimed her when they were juniors when his dad told him it was time to mate with someone like her. Aiden had his girlfriend Bella she was a omega. 

Then she saw Bucky and Kayson being so happy and in love with their beta girls and Brody as well. She swallowed hard "Kinley" Brooks said 

"Yeah." she said in a low tone.

He walked over to her "Honey what's wrong?' he said then she saw Becca come in with Jordan.

"It's nothing dad. I'm just tired." she said as she walked out to the garage to put her stuff in the van. She got in the very back and wiped her tears put in her headphones. Kayson looked down and shook his head. "This was a bad idea." he whispered 

"What was a bad idea?' Bucky whispered 

"I rather suffer through a rut on vacation then see my twin sister hurt cause she's not being treated fairly." Kayson said then he picked up Ellie's bag and his "Come on darlin." Kayson said and took Ellie's hand. 

Taylor looked at Bucky "I didn't know that they were twins. How in the hell did they have one full alpha and one full omega as twins." Taylor said 

Brooks and Melissa heard her question. Melissa said "We were just as shocked as you are honey." 

They all got into the van and headed to the airport once they all got into the terminal she got her luggage checked and her ticket and waited for her dad to walk with her and her mom to the gate. She sat down while they waited for their flight to be called Melissa sat down beside her. "Kinley baby what's the matter huh?' as she tucked some stray hair back.

"This isn't fair mom.." she whispered 

"Baby..we can't tell them no. If they were to go into a rut.." Melissa said 

"Then why do I have to come. I rather stay with grandma then be on this trip. It's not fair I can't help how I was made but you all basically told Kayson to go out and get screwed and what did I get locked in my room in pain for a week like I was on period but I wasn't." she said in a low tone. 

Then they called their flight and she got up she got on the plane before anyone else and found her seat her mom sat beside her as Kinley laid her head against the window. Brooks leaned in Melissa's ear "What did she say?" 

"Her feelings are hurt cause everyone gets to bring someone. I tried to explain to her why but she didn't care and said that we should of let her stay with Hazel if we were more concerned about the boys sexual needs then her feelings." Melissa said 

They landed in the airport at Dallas then boarded their connecting flight then they finally landed at their destination. They made their way to baggage claim she found her suitcase and then followed her parents to the airport enterprise. Brooks and James got two rental cars and they all headed to grab some dinner and grocery shop then headed to the cabin.
