Vicky and Billy were still laying naked under the bed sheets and keeping distance from each other. As much as Vicky wanted to touch him or have him hold her, she refrained from making the first move. Billy differed from the inexperienced teenage boys she had slept with. She couldn't read him as well as the others.

She blatantly eyed him up and down as she thought of where to go from here. Billy's disheveled blonde mullet framed his face with sweat acting like glue. He had reached over to grab his pack of Marlboros and lighter as soon as he was done with Vicky — even offering her one which she quickly accepted and lit with a flame they shared from his lighter.

"You're staring." Billy said, puffing out a breath of smoke.

"Good observation." Vicky sighed as she turned from laying on her back to laying on her stomach, propping her upper body on her elbows. Vicky actually liked Billy. Not enough to date him, but he was cool — he seemed cool.

"Where are you from, Billy?" Vicky asked. Billy turned to face her, which was what she was waiting for.

"California."

Vicky grinned, clearly amused by this. "And what is a big Cali boy like you doing in Hawkins, Indiana of all places?"

Billy slipped his cigarette from his lips and sat up, letting out smoke from his nostrils. "Wasn't my decision."

Vicky could tell that Billy talking to her about himself was making him itch; though she wanted to know more, she stopped herself from possibly upsetting him because she hoped that he would want to see her again.

"Alright." Vicky nodded, slipping her cigarette between her tender lips and sitting up on the edge of the bed. The sheets were crumpled in a ball on the bed and her bare back was exposed to the eyes of Billy.

He took this as an invitation to catch a glance at her figure, but ended up being struck by curiosity when he noticed a thin scar behind her left shoulder.

"How'd that happen?" He asked.

Vicky looked over her shoulder at Billy before her eyes traced where he was looking. She realized he was eyeing the scar and urged herself to ignore his question, but leaving it unanswered in any way would eat away at the back of her brain.

"You don't know me well enough yet." Vicky hid her smirk behind her shoulder. She reached to the carpeted floor her clothes were sprawled on — her bra being the first item she grabbed.

Vicky stood to slip into her underwear and the rest of her clothes. She could feel Billy's gaze burning on her skin as she was getting ready to leave. He didn't want to say anything so he could have more time to focus on every inch of her body's curves.

Billy had never experienced a girl who wasn't shy. And even though he loved when girls got flustered from his flirting, he always wanted someone who knew the perfect response. Maybe they were too similar, and he felt that he didn't want any part of it, but Vicky would prove to him that they were similar in all the right ways.
