Anna's POV
*FLASHBACK*
"Honey we are home." My mom says as we pull up to our new home.
"This is our new house mommy?" I say staring up at the tall house as my mom and I hold hands walking towards the door.
"Yes sweetheart this is going to be a great new start." She says with a smile as she bends over and lightly kisses the top of my head. She pulls out the keys from her pocket and unlocks the door. We walk in and my Mom walks around looking at the rooms as I trail behind her.
"Mommy can I go outside and play?" I ask tugging on the bottom of her dress.
"Yes. But be careful." She says as she slowly walks around the room. I turn around and run out the door, down the steps and to the front yard. I sit down near a small tree and start to drawl in the dirt with a stick. I made various shapes in the dirt such as hearts and circles and squares.
"Hello." I look up only to see a young boy.
"Hi." I say back. He sits down next to me and begins to play in the dirt.
"I'm luke." He says with a smile, his dimples showing.
"I'm Anna." I say back to him.
"How old are you?" He asks as he drawls a house in the dirt with his finger.
"I'm 5." I say.
"Me too!" He says as he looks up at me with the widest smile.
"Want to play at my house?" He asks.
"Sure!" I say starting to get up.
"Anna? Did you make a new friend?" My mom asks as she stands on the porch.
"Yes his name is luke." I say proudly.
"Can I go to Luke's house to play?" I ask.
"Okay honey." She says as Luke's mom comes out side and walks over to our house and talks to my mom.
One Hour later, After we went on swings and played in the sand box and also played dinosaurs. Lukey and I layed on the grass looking up at the clouds. We pointed out the shapes in them.
"That ones a bunny!" I scream pointing to the sky.
"No its not Anna, it's a dog!" He says.
"It's a bunny!" I scream back to him.
"Fine. It's a bunny." He says as we both start to laugh.
"Anna?" He questions.
"What?" I say looking at the boy I just met today.
"Let's be bestfriends forever." He says as he holds my hand and I smile.
"Forever?" I say as I hold his hand tightly.
"Forever." He smiles.
*END OF FLASH BACK *
My thoughts of meeting my bestfriend were interrupted by Luke him self.

And if you were wondering Anna moved from America to Australia when she was 5 because her parents split up.
