Anna pov
I keep crying and I can't stop.
I hear my phone letting out a tune.
shaking, I grab my phone out of my pocket and look to see who was calling.
It was Luke.
I try to wipe away the tears but everytime I did more tears fell so I just answered the phone.
"Hey Anna! I was wondering if you wanted to come ove-?"
"Luke i- i-" I cut him off. But I couldn't finish the sentence because I began to cry again.
"Anna what's wrong?" He said with concern.
"My mom and Dave and my dad-" I began to say but I just started to mumble.
"I'm coming over." He said.
The line ended and I got up slowly and went over to my window. Luke was on top of his roof. He ran jumped, and landed on top of my roof. When we were kids we used to do this to sneak to each other's houses.
I open the window and Luke climbs in.
He looks at me with concern and pulls me into a hug.
"Anna.." He whispers "What happened? " As he let's go, he looks at me up and down, and when he seen my feet his eyes grew large.
"Oh my god." He said bending down looking at my cut feet. He touched one of them which made me flinch in pain.
"We need to clean this up." He says.
He grabs my arm and pulls me too the bathroom. I sit down on the edge of the toilet seat. He rummages through the cabinets and pulls out proxside, bandages and a wash cloth and sets them on my counter top. I grab the proxside and dip it on the wash cloth. I rub it on my feet and whisper "fuck." Because it stings. He then put the bandageses on my feet.
"Thanks." I whisper as Luke helps me up and brings me over to my bed and sits me down. He rubs circles on my back and looks at me, his blue eyes glowing with sadness.
"What happened?" He questions.
"Um.. Dave came over and they got drunk and he said that my- my-" I said whipping away my tears because I began to cry again. He pulls me into a tight hug and says,
"Anna you can trust me.." He whispers close to my ear.
"I know but...he said my dad never loved me!" I half yelled and sobbed. His eyes became angry and his fists clenched.
"If I could get my hands on that ass hole." Luke warns.
"I just need to lay down." I say as I pulled the blankets back and got under them. Luke got up and turned off the light.
He came back to my bed and got under the blankets with me. He pulled the blankets over us and smiled but it quickly turned to a serous face.
"How did your feet get cut?" Luke asked.
"Dave threw a whine glass at my feet." I said.
"Wow, that makes me want to kick his ass even more." He says.
I let out a big sigh and Luke grabs my hand and holds it tightly. After a little bit of silence, it was broken.
"We are leaving for tour soon." Luke says.
I move my body so I am now facing him.
"And I'm aloud to bring someone but..." He starts.
"Your bringing Alisha." I finish the sentence for him.
"Yeah, I wanted to bring you but she is my girlfriend and all...."
"I understand." I say.
"Maybe sometime you could go with us if we ever go on tour in the future." He says with a smile as I smile too.
"I can't even imagine being without my bestfriend for that long." I say.
"We will skype and call Like every day." He says as he smiles and his dimples show.
"Yeah but that's different." I whisper as my eyes dart back and forth from his ocean eyes.
"But anyways, I'm excited for you." I add.
"Thanks." he says with a bright smile.
All of a sudden there was a loud crash coming from down stairs, added by giggles.
This made me jump, Luke moves closer to me and holds me close.
"Everything is going to be ok." He says staring into my eyes.
"Okay?" He asks as I nod.
"Thanks." I say.
"Well your my bestfriend. I don't want you to ever be hurt." He says
I smile and he smiles too.
I lay my head on his chest and 5 minutes later we both fall asleep.
