Anna's pov:
My eyes flutter open.
It was dark too dark.
I'm suddenly lifted up on my hands, looking around my room, not knowing what the time was. My eyes trail over to my clock and my eyes begin to feel heavy.
3:05am
I give out a groan and rub my some what tired eyes. I had slept for about 9 hours. I don't know how I did. After seeing the boys leave I just felt like I had nothing to do, so I just slept it off.
My phone vibrates giving a small amount of light into the dark room. I squint my eyes and grab the phone checking who the text could be from.
Luke: I know it's early but I just wanted to say hello :-)
Me: Its fine I'm up :-)
Luke: I'm surprised your awake ahah
Me: Yeah me too. How's the boys doing?
Luke: They are doing great. Alisha is here too she is having fun
Me: That's good
Luke: Yeah this Is so amazing I can't wait to preform!
Me: Yeah you guys are going to do great
Luke: thanks. I miss ya Anna
Me: Miss ya too Luke
Luke: Hey im gonna let you go talk to ya soon
Me: Bye
I threw my phone back on the table and yawn as I look around my room. I lay back down and try to close my eyes and sleep.
After 15 minutes of tossing and turning, I get back up and pull the blankets off of me.
I walk slowly over to my light switch and turn it upwards. Light filled the room burning my tired eyes. I walked over to my closet door and opened it, walking inside of the small walk in space. I put on some pajamas pants and slid on a sweatshirt.
As I look around the closet, I spot a box that says "Bestfriends forever" in sloppy hand writting.
I grab it and as I walk back out of the closet, I open the box and sit on my bed. There are various pictures and small items inside. I pull out a picture and indicate the 2 small children, Ones arm over the others sholder, both smiling widely with gaps in thier teeth. Both Wild hair, and little clothing.
I smile at the picture as I set it a side.
I pull out another picture, The 2 kids a little bit older now, pop corn everwhere, blankets cover thier legs, watching a movie together trying to cover thier faces as the mom took the picture.
Another of The 2, passed out on the couch after a long day of swimming, His arm wrapped arounder her waist, his face dug down into her neck as they are both sleeping softly, not knowing that they were cuddling.
Picture after picture, pulling them out and old memories flowing back.
I look in the box again. A bracelet or 2, a few movie tickets and other small gifts from the past. I pull out the old friendship bracelets and put them on. I picked up all the pictures of me and Luke and I was about to put them I'm the box when I seen a little pink box in there topped with a silver bow. I pick it up and open it.
A necklace placed inside that Luke had gotten me on my birthday last year.
The one that I had seemed to lose, was hidden inside the bestfriend box.
I pull out the necklace and put it on, the heart dangling. I put everything back in the box and set it aside. I grab my phone and instantly call Luke on face time. After a few seconds he picks up and I smile at him.
"Hi Luk-..."
But it soon fades when I see Alisha sound asleep next to him.
"Oh um im sorry." I say as I'm about to hang up.
"No its okay."
"How is she?" I ask.
"Good. But she is going to be leaving back to Australia in a few days."
"Why?" I asked.
"She dosnt want to run around everywhere I guess." He says quietly obviously trying not to wake her.
"Oh that sucks." I say is play with my bracelets.
"Yeah I know I want her to stay." He says as he gets up and leaves his bed. Soon he is out on a porch outside.
He looks back at the camera and smiles.
"What?" I say laughing.
"The necklace." He says and I look down at my necklace and reach up for it and I play with it imbetween my thumb and pointer finger.
"It's really pretty." I say with a smile while watching the diamonds make a glair from the light.
"I knew you would love it." He says and I blush.
"Thank you." I say.
"No problem, I mean you already said thanks last year but-" He starts to say but I cut him off.
"No I mean. You know always being there for me."
"Your welcome but Thanks for being there for me too, I uh, don't know what I would do without you. " he says and I smile.
After a while we hang up and I slowly fall asleep.
