I am in a good mood today for three reasons.

Reason one, we got the relic. Reason two, it's a Friday which meant tomorrow's a weekend. Reason three, which also means more free time for me to hang out with Eve.

My injuries were still healing and according to Ratchet, I shouldn't strain my right servo and give it a week to heal which means I'll be out of the field for a while.

But at least I had more free time now. I took up Eve's suggestion and began watching TV like Bee and I have to say that MacGyver is awesome.

Anyways, right now I was waiting for Eve outside of school at my usual parking spot. I've made it a habit to park there.

I also noted that there were still some stains left on my floor mats from the whole Egypt thing. It's gross but I can't blame Eve. Apparently there was only so much a humans' tanks, I mean stomach could take.

Soon enough, the bell rang and there came Eve.

"So, how was school? Let me guess, pure horror?" I asked.

"It was actually pretty decent today." She admitted. "I didn't have Geo so I didn't have to put up with that sorry excuse for a teacher and Miss Louis said I did a pretty good job on the Egypt presentation."

"Really?" I said.

"Yup, pity I couldn't have told her about the fact that human civilization from centuries ago came in contact with giant alien robots." Eve joked. "That probably would've gotten me an A."

"In 'what were you thinking?' yeah, sure." I teased.

"Yeah." Eve said. Then she looked down and saw the stains. "Oh." She said and her face dropped.

"Don't worry about it." I said. "No biggie."

"Right." She said but she still looked a bit guilty. I didn't like that look, I preferred to see her smiling. Then I got an idea.

"Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

When the morning comes
When we see what we've become
In the cold light of day we're a flame in the wind
Not the fire that we've begun
Every argument, every word we can't take back
'Cause with the all that has happened
I think that we both know the way that the story ends

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me

I want to raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

Know that means I'll have to leave
Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

When the evening falls
And I'm left there with my thoughts
And the image of you being with someone else
Well, that's eating me up inside
But we run our course, we pretend that we're okay
Now if we jump together at least we can swim
Far away from the wreck we made

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I want to raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

Know that means I'll have to leave
Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

So I'll go, I'll go
I will go, go, go
So I'll go, I'll go
I will go, go, go
