Evelyn and Miko sat inside their separate jars with a heavy heart. They were back in the med-bay, except this time Megatron ordered for them to be kept separated inside the jars.
Miko and Evelyn tried to look on the bright side of things but it was getting harder and harder to do so.
They hated feeling so helpless. The Autobots were about to sacrifice the relics they worked so hard to gain and the Omega Keys-the only things that gave them any hope of restoring their home, the same things they have risked their lives for, for them.
Miko and Evelyn felt terrible. Were they really worth that much? Would the bots go through with it?
On one hand, they felt a small surge of hope at the thought of being saved; on the other, they were hoping the Autobots would think of an alternative to save them without having to sacrifice so much.
'If only we could let them know where we are.' Evelyn thought. If she could just send out their location, she can give them a chance to launch a rescue. 'But the only way to do that...' she once again gazed at her phone which was out of reach.
Then she realized that the only cons in here were Knockout and Breakdown. 'This may be my only chance.' She realized. Then her resolve hardened. Even if it was a slim chance, it was better than none. She owed it to the bots to at least try.
"Can I please have my phone back?" she asked.
"What do you want it for?" Knockout asked.
"I'm bored." Evelyn said.
"Yeah right, do you think I'm stupid? You just want to call for help." Knockout sneered.
"Listen smarty-pants, we're flying god knows how high up in the air over god knows where, do you honestly think I can get a signal up here?" Evelyn said.
"She couldn't call for help even if she wanted to. There aren't any bars." Miko added. "That's how cellphones work, didn't you know smart guy?"
'I'm not taking any chances.' Knockout thought and went back to ignoring them.
"Please." Evelyn said.
"No." Knockout said.
Miko and Evelyn looked at each other. "Go all out." Evelyn said to Miko.
"Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, preeeeeeeeeeeeetty please? Please, pweeeeeeeez? Please?! Please?! Please?!" they said over and over again like a mantra and kept banging their fists against the glass and stomping their feet like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
Knockout gritted his dental plates as he tried and failed to block the annoying persistent pleads out. While Breakdown's remaining optic was twitching in annoyance.
"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE?!" Evelyn said louder. "Give it back! Give it back! Give it back!" she began and soon Miko took it up too.
"Give it back! Give it back! Give it back! Give it back! Give it back!" they chanted.
"Oh for the love of Primus sake, fine! You can have the fragging phone back, happy?!" Breakdown snapped.
"Breakdown!" Knockout hissed.
"Would you rather have to deal with this for the next 24 hours?" Breakdown shot back.
