Life In Another Dimension

A School Visit

     Nz woke up to a loud alarm. He  checked his phone, it was only 8 O'Clock. He felt shuffling and the couch lift up. The couch felt really soft today, so he got up. He looked around and saw he was in a room. Alex was there, changed into different clothes.
 
   That's when it hit him, he went to sleep in Alex's room last night. He remembered Alex cuddling up with him as he tried to sleep, causing him to smile.
 
   "Okay, get ready. You said you were going to visit my School, so we gotta get going!" Alex said. She went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Nz rushed to get changed, tripping as he tried to slip on his pants. Alex took a peek to make sure he was okay, only to see him on the floor in his underwear. She blushed as she went back to the bathroom. Nz got up and put his pants on. He put a shirt he found that looked manly enough (he didn't bring any clothes when he came) and put it on. He joined Alex in brushing their teeth and left quickly, as they were 5 minutes late.

     "Oh crap! Nz we gotta hurry!" Shouted Alex as they ran down the street. Alex began to slow down, so Nz grabbed her backpack and put it on. It was heavy, but at least Alex would be able to make it.

    "Hurry! I'll catch up!" Nz shouted as Alex began to speed up.

     They arrived at school just in time. Alex always kept a routine, so when she meant she was late, what she really meant was that she was behind schedule on getting ready for school.

     "Phew, we... we made it" Nz said, gasping for air. Alex patted Nz on the back after retrieving her backpack. She wanted to give him a kiss, but she couldn't bring up the courage to. Plus she didn't know if he loved her.

     "Come on, let's head inside." Alex said. Nz nodded and followed her in.

     It wasn't that different from what Nz was used to. The only obvious exception being really obvious. Nz's favorite vending machine was on the wrong side. Then the second obvious exception came into view, the genderbent people.

     "Wait, where's Jesse? I mean, who's your best friend?" Nz said. Alex looked at him.

     "I think you mean Jessica... I can text her if you want. Why?" Alex asked.

     "Jesse is my best friend in my world." Nz explained, gaining weird looks from people. Alex nodded reminding herself Nz isn't from here.

     "Yeah, I can get her. She'll be great friends with you. Just don't get too attached..." Alex said, whispering the last part. Nz heard what she said though.

     "Why don't you want me getting attached?" Nz asked. Alex just blushed and adjusted her beanie. Nz really liked Alex's brown hair, made him appreciate his own brown hair.

     "Reasons." Alex quickly said. Nz chuckled as he followed Alex to her class.

     "Do you want me to go in?" Nz asked. Alex shook her head, but Nz understood. He probably shouldn't be here. Nz left Alex to go to her classroom while he just waited on a nearby bench.

     "Skipping class too?" Someone asked. Nz looked up and saw another dude sitting next to him. The guy stared at him, most likely wondering why he looked like Alex.

     "No, I don't go to this school." Nz said, returning his attention to his phone. The guy nodded.

     "So what are you doing here?" He asked. Nz sighed.

     "Waiting for a friend to finish her class." He said. The guy chuckled.

     "Oh, a her, huh? Is it your girlfriend?" He joked. Nz just blushed, he didn't know if Alex liked him.

    "I don't know if she loves me back." Nz told him. The guy understood clearly.

     "You just gotta look for the hints man. The hints are what always are missed." He said.

     Nz thought about what he said a few hours later. He was allowed in homeroom with Alex, so he became a bit less smooth with her.

     "So, Netherland, how was your day so far?" Alex asked. Nz looked up.

     "Eh, it was okay. All I did was sit outside classrooms." Nz said. Alex laughed, her friends did as well. Nz has been on a streak for a bit now.

     "So are you guys dating?" Terrissa asked. She looked like a female version of Terry. Nz blushed wildly, as well Alex.

     "What? Haha, uhh..." Alex said. Terrissa giggled.

     "You guys should go out! You'd look cute together!" She said. Alex didn't know if she was joking or not. Nz as well.

                     After School
   
     "Well that was an interesting introduction to your school." Said Nz. Alex nodded, remembering that awkward conversation with Terrissa. She fantasized how life would be if she and Nz were dating.

     She prepared some food for them to eat. Eggs would be good for now.

     "So, Nz, what do you think of Terrissa?" Alex asked. Nz chuckled.

     "She is definitely just like Terry. So she's fine." He answered. Alex nodded. She handed him the eggs as they began to eat. Nz was surprised at how good the eggs were. Probably even better than his, and his were good! Nz could tell his narcissistic behavior was beginning to shrink, mostly because he is actually in love with himself. He laughed at a thought that popped into his mind. His dirty mind was certainly something.

     "Well, what do you think?" Alex asked. Nz smiled.

     "Absolutely delicious!" He said. Alex blushed at the compliment. She was falling deeper and deeper in love with him. Such a strange idea.
