Party Time

     It has been a week since Jesse and Nz heard about the party planning. They were getting really bored, it was now Summer Break, which Alex didn't attend school for the final 2 weeks of school. It was hot outside, so Nz and Jesse were beginning to think of going to the pool when Alex came into the living room.

     "Hey guys, me and Jessica have been invited to a party!" Alex shouted. Nz nodded as he grabbed a watermelon flavored sucker and popped it into his mouth. "Don't worry, you guys are invited too!"

     Jesse looked at Nz, noticing the sucker in his mouth, and got up. He was already in party-like clothes, so he decided he would just wear that to the party. Nz went to change in his room, coming out in just a red hoodie and some cargo shorts.

     "Dude, we're going to a party, and you're just going to wear casual clothes." Jesse asked. Nz shrugged as he opened the door.

     They walked with Alex to Jessica's house, which actually confused Jesse and Nz. Alex knocked on the door, with Jessica opening it up. The party was already pretty intense in there, with loud music and the living room packed with people.

     "Damn, that's a bunch of people" Jesse whispered to Nz. Nz's eyes widened as he entered. Just like Jesse, he had never been invited to a party before. Alex seemed to notice that something was wrong with Nz, so she brought him to Jesse's room, which had no one in it.

     "Netherland, are you okay?" Alex asked.

     "I-I've never been to a party before." Nz explained awkwardly. Alex understood, trying to think of ways to calm him down. So, she just pushed him to the wall and began to make out with him.

     Meanwhile, Jesse was having a blast. It was his first time, but I was already awesome. He talked to a bunch of people, which they all seemed to befriend him. He was dancing along when Jessica all of a sudden pulled him into her room.

     "Ow, what the fuck Jessica?" Jesse said. Jessica rolled her eyes. "What is it?"
    
     "Do you know what's happening in your room?" Jessica asked. She tried to hold in a laugh. Jesse walked over to his room and saw Nz against a wall making out with Alex.

He quickly left the room.

     "Well, I'm not going in the room for a bit." Jesse joked. He and Jessica began to grab some cups and drink the beverages available.

    Alex loved that she could taste watermelon while she was kissing Nz. It added a little love to it. A few more minutes later, they finished making out.

     "Here, it makes you look cooler." Alex said as she popped another watermelon flavored sucker into his mouth. She walked off to join Jessica, leaving Nz in Jesse's room.

     Nz was about to leave the room when he noticed something under Jesse's bed. What was that, tissues? He looked under it and saw a bunch of balls of tissues. He looked closely at one of them, which made him leave the room immediately. He now knew something about Jesse he didn't know about.

     The party was interesting. There were a bunch of classmates from Alex's school and some other people he didn't know. Jesse and Jessica seemed drunk, as when they spoke their words began to slur. Alex was talking to Terrissa and Samantha. He had no one to talk to. He sat down on the couch and began to play some games on his phone.

     "Hey, how you doin'?" A familiar voice asked. Nz looked up and saw the same guy he met when he visited Alex's school.

     "Oh, I'm doing great." Nz answered sarcastically. The guy sat down next to him.

     "Heard you began dating your friend. Finally got the hints, eh?" The guy looked at Nz, who began to wonder where this guy is getting this information.

     "Yeah, I did, how do you know?" Nz asked. The guy smiled as he groomed his blond hair.

     "Just had a hunch. Come with me, I wanna show you somethin'." The guy led Nz behind Jessica's house. Their were in her backyard, with barely anyone around.

    Alex looked around for Nz, he just disappeared. She looked in Jesse's room, but he wasn't there. She looked at the window and wondered maybe he was outside. She walked up to it and saw the backyard, where she saw Nz talking with the high school bully.

     "Why did you bring me here?" Nz asked. He threw the sucker's stick into a nearby trash can. The guy had a very serious expression on his face.

     "You took something from me." He glared at Nz. Nz didn't know what he meant, he didn't take anything.

     "What're you talking about?" Nz said.

     "My future girlfriend. You took her, she was going to be mine." He popped his knuckles in an effort to look more intimidating. Nz shrugged as he popped another sucker into his mouth. He found them very tasty.

     "I never caught your name, mind telling me?" Nz said, trying to change the subject.

     "Ugh, Charles, now about my future girlfriend."

     "Look man, it's too late. I won, so shut up." Nz began to walk back inside when Charles grabbed him by the hoodie and threw him to the ground. Nz quickly got up, trying to hide that he currently was in pain.

     "You are not worthy of her!" Charles punched Nz in the face, knocking his sucker out of his mouth. Nz saw the sucker in the grass, which infuriated him. He wasn't good at fighting, well, he's never actually fought someone. But he was going to have to.

     Alex watched as Nz and Charles were fighting, her eyes widening each time Charles brought Nz to the ground. This was too much for her, she had to do something, but what?

     Nz threw a wicked uppercut, which caused Charles to trip and fall down. His head hit the concrete, but Nz hoped he knocked him unconscious, and not split his head open. He cautiously walked over and was relieved that Charles hasn't broken his skull. Alex ran over to see what happened, saw Charles on the ground, and then looked at Nz.

     "What the fuck happened?" She asked. Nz sighed as he told her about the fight and how it started. Alex quickly checked Nz for any injuries, but saw that he was fine.

     They went back into the party after Nz gave Alex a quick peck on the lips. He still wasn't very comfortable with all the people around him, but he was getting used to it. He saw Jesse and Jessica, who both looked very drunk. They looked pretty close to each other, which Nz found hilarious. He even saw them go to Jessica's room.

     "Heyy, look at Jesse and Jessica!" Alex shouted over the music. Nz nodded, he already saw them enter the room.

     "Yep, already saw!" Nz shouted back. Alex looked at some people drinking alcohol.

     "Hey, why don't we drink?" Alex asked. Nz looked over and saw what Alex was looking at.

     "Eh, I don't really like drinking."

     Alex handed him a cup despite his disagreement. He looked at the cup before taking a sip. Before he knew it, he drank the whole thing.
