it was another day and another fight. mina didn't want to go out of the house and just 'meet' with people. she was scared. what if namjoon appears out of nowhere and starts playing with her mind and everyone gets the wrong picture about her?

she shrugged it off, dressing up in some random clothes she found in her bag. she left the hotel room without taking any of her stuff. mina needed a break from everything, from her family, from her illness, from namjoon. that was the main reason she escaped. or so she thought she did. her past followed her even when she did not want to be followed.

'oh hey mina! nice to see you again!'

the voice echoed through her head. she looked up to see jungkook smiling big at her. she waved at him, praying that he moves so she can have some time alone. at least until namjoon appears again.

'hi jungkook' she said slowly. the words moving from her tongue smoothly.

'i was going to visit some of my friends and since you're new here i want you to meet some people?' he smiled again. she wanted to reject him and tell him that se doesn't want to meet anyone. but she took it in reconsidariation when she saw his adorable smile. she knew she could break some of her rules and have a lot of fun.

'i mean.. sure why not? some fun won't hurt anyone'

'awesome' jungkook said, walking in front of her. she followed behind him closely.

their conversation was little to non-existent. the young boy was trying to spark up the conversation with some small talk but she barely responded. mina reminded him of his yoongi hyung. great, he thought, i try to deal with one yoongi and now i get another one. he shook his head to himself, completely ignoring the thoughts in his head.

'anyways, we're here!' he sad enthusiastically.

'the kim's surfing resort?' she read the name of the shop.

'yeah, my friend and his brother are the owner of this place. i started surfing because of them' mina nodded.

they entered the shop which had so many surfing boards, swimming masks and so many other things. 'interesting place' mina said 'i know right?' jungkook replied with a smile.

'jungkook?' a voice called out 'is that you?'

'yes hyung! it's me!' jungkook yelled.

'that's seokjin hyung, we usually call him jin hyung. he's pretty loud and old' he said in a whisper tone. mina giggled.

'i may be older than you but i'm still not deaf. i'm not loud at all and certainly not old' jin appeared in front of them. mina laughed at the embarassed jungkook. 'anyways, who is this young lady you brought with you?' the look on jin's face was pretty sugestive but it disappeared as soon as jungkook said that she was his friend.

'i'm mina, nice to meet you' she said simply.

'well nice to meet you mina!'

'hyung, where is taehyungie? i need to talk to him for a little bit please'

jin nodded. 'he is behind there' he pointed with his finger 'i will stay with our beloved mina here' mina blushed at the words seokjin said. jungkook left the two of those, trying to find taehyung.

-

'hyung' jungkook called out, searching for his blue haired hyung.

'i'm here jungkook, what do you want?' taehyung may seem like he was rude, but he wasn't. it was just his way of preaching to people.

'i brought mina here' jungkook said.

'jungkook, how many times have i told you that i don't want to meet that girl?'

'but hyung, you will love her. she reminds me so much of areum. maybe it will make you move on from areum.'

'jungkook. nothing will ever make me move on from areum. and no one can ever be like her.' taehyung's eyes landed on the framed picture of him and areum. how he wished she was here now, laughing with him while he drew her.

'hyung, you can't stay like this forever. you need to find yourself someone else.' taehyung was getting mad.

'jungkook no means no! why can't you fucking understand that?!' taehyung yelled at him, standing up from his chair and leaving the small space.

-

seokjin and mina slightly jumped when they heard yells coming from the other room. 'not again' seokjin muttered. 'is everything okay?' mina asked, slightly scared of the situation that she was in.

'not really. it's just jungkook and taehyung they keep fig-'

before jin could finish his sentence, the blue haired boy, taehyung stormed out of the store not even giving them a second glance.

jungkook came out running asking where taehyung went. 'jungkook, what did you do this time?' jin asked shaking his head. jungkook looked at mina and just sighed.

'i think i'm going to leave?' the sentence came out from mina's mouth more as a question. 'wait mina' but mina had already left. she felt too awkward being caught up in an argument between the people she didn't even know.

she left the surf shop leaving the two boys behind her confused.
